The grounds and buildings are well-maintained. In the middle of modern Taichung restaurants and shopping. Nice place to take pictures.

Taichung Confucius Temple takes up almost a block and is a peaceful spot to take a break from the city. The colorful buildings are well maintained and the complex makes for a nice space for a stroll with a garden area near the main entrance.

Not really a review because we didn't get to go in as the temple was closed! Forgot to check temple hours...Please learn from my mistake and avoid Mondays. I'm sure the temple is lovely!

We visited this temple late in the day and there were just a handful of other visitors there. It was very quiet and peaceful. The temple grounds and buildings were very clean and well maintained. Entry was free and the whole place is very colourful...More

Although the building itself is not very old, the style is a traditional one. I am sure that you can take nice pictures here. The entrance is free. If you walk from the station, it takes about 20 minutes.

Really nice temple. It is a big temple located right within the busy hustle bustle of Taichung. Magnificent temple architecture. Very peaceful from the moment you step inside the gate. This temple is about 40 something years old and it still looks like new. It's...More

This is a peaceful respite in the middle of busy Taichung. The temples are well maintained and honor Confucius, his ancestors and his disciples. The impact of Confucius on Chinese society and culture is immense and the honors are well deserved. The grounds are less...More

Not a bad shrine, but not a lot to do here. However, my friends and I met here and walked to the Paochueh Temple and then looped back to the Yizhong Night Market to make a complete trip.
