The Longtan Sightseeing Pond, located in the urban area of Longtan, was used as a facility for agricultural irrigation and water regulation in its early years. After renovation and renovation, it has been given a new look and has become a good place for sightseeing, leisure and entertainment. In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery along the poolside, you can also engage in water sports. At night, the poolside and suspension bridge are illuminated, adding to the romantic atmosphere. The Nantian Palace in the center of the pool is an important religious center in Longtan. It is dedicated to worshiping Guan Gong. You can also stop by to worship here.

It was a badly managed parked in the 70s and 80s and nowadays is getting better, better managed, but I wished personally, they provide even more detail of the history of this park, the park, is built on a natural spring, the spring water flows strongly , survived through many droughts and is the source of at least two major rivers in Taoyuan city, provided water supply for agriculture for Taoyuan region, this is a big deal as Taoyuan region has much less rivers than most other regions in Taiwan, water supply is essential, and make this location important and an essential for farmers.

Once a year they drain the lake to clean the bottom of the lake but the springwater continuous to flow non stop
