The broad breeze canal is an international standard competition waterway, with athletes often gathering for a race. The Luzhou Embankment pet sports park beside the canal offers a good place for parents and kids to go pet walking. Lots of brands and some bargains to be found. All the sport brands - Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Puma etc. Good international brands - Uniqlo, Birkenstock, Levi’s, Gap. And Asian Brands and luxury ones too. Fair selection of restaurants and eateries (some with crazy long queues though). Great to be able to do the tax free process too to save 5%. Some shops also offered coupons for further discount - so take your passport and visit the information desk

took the taoyuan mrt from taipei’s main station. 9 stops to linkou station, it cost NT$70 per person one way. At linkou station, take exit 2 & turn right. walk towards the linkou bus interchange which is about 100m away and keep on walking for another 10 mins. you will pass by the fire station next… cross the road and u reach mitsui outlet park. food court & restaurants are located at level 2 of the indoor mall. spend about 3 hours here… discounts are not attractive, come only if you have free time to spare

Though this is an outlet mall, the prices definitely cannot be compared to US outlets prices. However, there were still some good buys depending on what you are looking for. Quite a comprehensive mall with plenty of restaurants and shops. Not too crowded but is a little out of the way from Taipei city.

Another overpriced Mall. A bit boring and bland. There are probably better offers elsewhere that don't call themselves Outlet, which is a heavily abused term every where. It is clear to see how expensive it is when most people walk away empty-handed

We had an early flight home so stayed at Novotel Taoyuan. Also planned to visit Mitsui to see how it is. From Novotel it was so easy to get to Mitsui (Linkou station just a few stops away). Mitsui surprised us with the large food court and many shops. The shops & brands were not easily found around Taipei I feel so Mitsui is easy since it is 1 stop. The fashion and accessories are not that cheap but there is a good choice. I find it a good stopover near airport before heading back to our homeland.

If you want to eat in average and decent restaurants, this is a great place. There are a few stores with clothes. Shops are better for women but they have limited choice for men. The mall itself is great. It's very open and fun to walk around on a rainy or very hot day. Linkou, where it is located, is cooler than Taipei and fun to cycle around or play golf.

The mall itself is nicely designed and easy to get to with buses and the airport train line. It's is also gray for families.
The problem I have with this so called outlet mall is that is does not look anything like a traditional outlet mall where most stores are accessed from outside, and not located inside while giant building like a traditional mall. But this is a minor observation and no biggie. The biggie is the prices. Too high for an outlet mall. And the product selection is not that much in brand stores.
The mall, that's what I will call it now, also has plenty of restaurants which are good. But like clothing, the restaurants are also pricey.
I would recommend the management to go back and research what actually is an outlet mall cos their seems to be a misunderstanding. Maybe they thought the. Some sounds cute. This is definitely not an outlet mall by any means.
I like the Jason's store though. I shop there a lot. About the only store I visit at this place. And I live in Linkou.

Quite disappointed. Prices not that much cheaper. Nothing much to see. Wasted my time going there, as it was out of town. Need to take an airport MRT line to this place from Main station at Taipei.

This is more a large shopping mall than an outlet park. Prices may not be great depending on where you came from. Mostly high street brands. There is a shuttle bus from Linkou metro station. I don't recommend to specially make time and travel all the way to this mall.

Big range of brands in this outlet. Many of them offer additional discount on top outlet prices! Remember to check before checking out! Foodcourt has a variety of Japanese food, try the pork ramen! Yums.

What exit gate from the Linkou mrt station?
Written February 1, 2018
Hi,
Would like to check what bus can I take and the estimated travelling time to go from Taipei Main station to the Mitsui Outlet Park.
I will be near Yuanshan MRT. Is it faster to travel from Yuanshan MRT to the outlet?
Written November 7, 2016
You can take the Tao Tuan Metro from Taipei Main station. Get off at sation A9 Linkou.
The outlet, is straight down the main road 5 mins.
