The area
Address
Neighborhood: Wugu / Linkou District
Wugu District is suited for outdoor activities. Six hiking trails were planned in the Guanyinshan Natural Scenic Area with their respective features. The entire pass is forestry with the sound of birds and insects. A walk through the trail not only strengthens the body but also soothes the mind. The broad breeze canal is an international standard competition waterway, with athletes often gathering for a race. The Luzhou Embankment pet sports park beside the canal offers a good place for parents and kids to go pet walking. Linkou district encompasses both leisure sport and temple features, with sports parks and golf courses for the exercise savvy to enjoy. There are also tourist factories to experience the heart of an industry and DIY fun. The first Japanese OUTLET PARK in Taiwan, MITSUI OUTLET fully satisfies shopping desires and offers a variety of delicacies.

Nice but expensive
Dec 2019
We had a lovely day walking around the centre however items were expensive! Know your prices before you go if you are on a budget.

Mitsui Outlet shopping experience
Dec 2019 • Family
It was a good place to spend a rainy afternoon. Very clean mall with mostly covered walkway. Has a great variety of shops although prices are still steep compared with US or Australian outlets. Good food options which includes food court and several restaurants. Foreigners can get a coupon to obtain extra discount (from information desk). With regards to transport from Taipei main station, we took the airport line (Purple) and got off Linkou station. It is another 10 min walk to the mall. On returning to Taipei main, we took the 1210 bus which is conveniently outside the East Gate (NT43 per person). The latter is much more convenient (likely same route is available from the Taipei main)

Way too expensive here...
Dec 2019 • Solo
...at least in The North Face store when compared to even regular retail stores in the US. The labels and sizing here are different. I didn't check out really that many other stores, except Timberlake and things were expensive there too. Even thought the food court was a bit pricey. This place looks more like an upscale urban mall than a outlet "park."

Some items were good price but some items were too pricey
Dec 2019
Some items were good price but some items were too pricey. We managed to buy Le Coq shoes and T-shirts as well as Michael Kors clothes which were good price. The higher end items like Versace, etc. were way over-priced compared to outlets in Europe or the US. There are quite a few restaurants and food outlets. We ate at Kyo Watami - food was good and reasonably priced with free flow of salad. The food court is all Japanese food except the Hainan Chicken Rice. The sanuki udon was not bad. Overall, not a bad place to visit when you are in Linkou.

A shopping mall, rather than an outlet
Dec 2019 • Family
Good range of shops. Barely any discounts.
Nice and spacious, like most outlet shopping mall.

The outlet is not attached to the Train station. It’s a 10mins walk from Lin Kou station.

I would say. Skip this place. Shopping is at shin kong mitsukoshi or eslite is more convenient since there isn’t much a bargain at the outlet.

Food was accessible with a food court, Mostly Japanese fare. And restaurants.

First time coming to this Mitsui Linkou, pretty convenient..just take the Airport MRT towards Airport..take the Express Train & alight at A8 Chang Gung Memorial Hospital then change to Communter train from here to A9 Linkou .There is free bus service from Linkou to Mitsui..Turn Right from the Main Exit,Look out for a bus stop.
which is also a public bus stop.Look for timing to Mitsui on the notice board.Big Food Court & also Cinema here.Happy shopping!U can get Tax Refunds ,just present yr passport at each retail shop.,They give you a receipt & you present to Mitsui Information Customer for a final copy .Refunds of tax is at Airport..Very Convenient.!.Do it before you enter Immigration Clearance.Happy Shopping!

Nice diversion for a long transit in Taipei
Nov 2019
If you have at least five hours to kill in between flights, then this could be a good option. Easy to reach via the MTR from airport - about 20 minutes to the station and a quick 10-15 minute walk to the outlet (there is a shuttle, but the point of being out of the airport is to walk around)

True, as noted by other reviewers, there aren't many bargains. The usual array of brands often seen in outlet malls.

But I was impressed by the variety of food options, a large Eslite book store, and a variety of Japanese branded stores - something not normally seen in a US outlet mall.

Nice shopping centre
Oct 2019 • Friends
It's a beautifully designed shopping centre. Not sure if it actually has good deals though. Lots of brands, and food options.

The price of goods are not low in the outlet
May 2019
I am disappointed that the price of goods in the outlet is not as low as I think. And also, the types are products are few. Anyway, the place is a comfortable place for people to walk around in weekend.
