This trail is quiet easy to walk. Suitable for morning jugging and walk during the sunset time. love the fresh air and beautiful trees and sculptures here.

The first day at Kinmen, around 3 pm, we started the Taiwu mountain hiking. The footpath is nice with beautiful scenes on both side. In addition to the famous “wu-Wong-Jiu-ju“ inscribed rock, there is a Buddha temple and the up-side-down shadow tower” to explore the natural beauty and gorgeous scenes. This is definitely a must do activity when you visit a Kinmen.

It takes about half an hour to walk to the top of the mountain. But the path is covered by the tress that makes it a great walk. There are quite a lots of interest place to discover on the path. All u need to do is just to relax and follow the sign. For nature lover, you can't just miss it if you come to Kinmen!! Too bad the weather on the day is a bite haze to enjoy the great view of the island.

Considering this is the highest point on the island, it offers a great view. There is also interesting history regarding this Taiwu Hill. However, I would only recommend to go if you have surplus time. For hikers, it would be more fun to ascend from the trail in the north and descend via the main footpath. Walking up the footpath will take around 20 mins if you are fit enough. However, you have to plan well in advance to fit for the bus schedule.
