This is near to Jincheng City, about 5 mins motor ride. it is just beside the big lake. There is about 3 stories of pictures on the history and also the culture of the place. If you are staying there for the night, there is some laser works display which is scheduled hourly, but it is not too impressive and actually nothing much to see, but since there is nothing much to do at night, this is a place you can check out. During the day, it will be a good place to go to the roof and see the view of Kinmen.

Definitely worth visiting and walking to 2nd floor to see the view of Kinmen, little Kinmen and Xiamen China. The artifacts in the museum is not that impressive, we just quickly walked past to get to see the view. Like all Kinmen attractions, it's free.

It’s a 3 storey building with exhibits inside.
You get to learn more about the local way of life, like the famed wind lions of Kinmen and its origins.
Nice view from the top.
Thought I got overly crowded when I was there!

Kinmen has a torrid history, it came under continuous bombardment by the People's Liberation Army, until the PLA artillery began firing on alternate days. The Juguanglou is worth a look, it has interesting mementos of times gone by when Kinmen was the center of the world' s attention. Juguanglou remains a symbol of KInmen, the Republic of China still flies defiantly.

A lot of history in it. But only need 20-30 minutes to check it out. Will just give you a crash on history and a brief summary on what there is to see around there. But worth your time to check out.

It’s the symbol of a Kinmen. Actually, it was used as the mark of China artillery to bombard Kinmen during the very famous 823 artillery war back then. The third floor is kind of memory place for General Hu who was the Commander in Kinmen back then. Somehow, all three deputy Commanders died in the first artillery bombarding. The second floor displayed local religious stuff. Not too much changes for the last 49 years, said one of my friends who served military service here in late ‘70s.

Juguang Tower (sort of misleading as it’s only about three stories high) was my first stop which offered a good view of the town and had some displays about the tower’s history. You can get a view of Xiamen from the observation deck but pretty quick stop otherwise.

On a clear day you're supposed to be able to see the mainland (Xiamen, Fujian Province) from the rooftop of this building. It was hazy when I was there, but I think I was able to make out faint outlines of high rises. The building also features local history and culture in a sort of museum.
