I go every week to get fresh air
Apr 2021 • Friends
Studying at Fo Guang University right above the Linmei Shipan Trail, this is like my backyard, when I need some fresh air and water. This trail is built beside a golf course, so it is easy to go here if you take Green 11, and it is a relatively easy trail to walk. If not crowded, it takes around 45min to walk around this trail. Come enjoy Yilan’s fresh air and water!?!

Fresh, soothing and chill

Easy and amazing trail that you could take a glance of the waterfall while walking relaxingly on the trail. Highly recommended for a family trip or just a healthy hike with your friends or partners.

Great hiking with falls
May 2020 • Friends
This is a hiking track with falls and river around. The total distance from in to out is about 2 miles. It is an easy walk. The air was fresh. It’s a great place to take many nice photo. Only disadvantage was no parking lot. Need to park along the road.

Great Exploration - 很棒的探險

Ninety to one hundred minutes walk in this place definitely will surprise you in many ways. You can relax sometimes but in many sections of this walk you need to be very careful because a slip might bring you to at least a hundred meters down. You can hear the water long away from you or you can touch the very cold mountain water. You can see water, water falls, ferns, rocks, amazingly big plants. You need to walk, climb the stairs and walk up & down. You will be always under the tree shade, enjoy the fendofine & really get some exercises during this walk. We had a great & memorable walk here.

Tranquil and unpolluted
Feb 2019 • Family
Not far from the busy Jiaoxi district, can be easily approached by bus. Experience the great nature in this trail, a short 1.7km distance can be completed within one hour if it's not crowded. Since the path is narrow, it could really be slowed down on weekends and holidays. So, try choose a less busy day to visit if you can.

Fairly easy 1.7 km round trip trail with lots of streams and waterfalls along the way with very clean air
Dec 2018 • Family
I would highly recommend doing this trail for a number of reasons:
1) It is an easy fairly flat trail in the hill with only a few parts with some steps.
2) There are numerous waterfalls to see along the trail which caught us by surprise.
3) The air up here is very fresh and environment is peaceful.
4)The round trip is only 1.7 km and it took us about an hour with photo stops.

We bought some kumquat from one of the few fruit stalls at the entrance. Our hotel, Vasty hotel, kindly fetched us here and then 15 mins before the end of trail, we gave them a call again to fetch us to Wufengqi Waterfall. I appreciated this great service by Vasty hotel so that I could do both lovely walks while in Jiaoxi.

Nice trail that offers a different world !
Nov 2018 • Friends
A surprise trail that has a lot to offer at different stages. Sign board at the entrance indicates that it is going to take 2 hours but it can be done in less than one hour for the 1.7km trek. There are a lot of small bridges in the trail that makes in special.
Certain areas are pretty steep so proper shoes is necessary.

A Breathe of Fresh Air in Taiwan, Formosa of the World
May 2018 • Solo
Taiwan is known as Formosa since the Europeans nagivators sailed by some 500+ years ago, and has been an island of Peace and Love, with a plethora of ethnicities.

The Island of Taiwan, currently under the sovereign name of Republic of China, has been ruled by the Spaniards, the Dutch, the Chinese since the Yuan and Ming Dynasty, and has a majority of people with roots tracing back to Mainland China.

Just as Premier Xi JinPing said, China and Taiwan are linked by blood and bone, and will always be linked because we share the same ancestors, with the same language both written and spoken.

Jiaoxi of Yilan County is a great place for tourists, foreign and local, and has the best air in Taiwan perhaps only second to the Sun Moon Lake.

Please enjoy the Trail, but if you are afraid of heights, be sure to carry a cane and don't look down ^_^

Also, please go during a sunny day, as the trail is quite narrow.
