After taking a hot spring, we decided to walk to Mary Leu’s and was fairly long walk. Fortunately, the trip was worth it. She has a fine gallery and a great next to it with beautiful crafts to sell.

Works of Mary Leu are simply stunning - intricate and inspired by nature. The ones made of boxwood were too good. The artwork of clothes are too real to believe they are made of wood.

The wood carvings by Ms Leu are amazing. My whole family had a great time seeing her works. The poems which accompany the works are nice too. She is so talented and should be more well-known ! We also enjoyed the tea and the gift shop. Much more than we expected.

Admission tickets at TWD200 but you will get to redeem a drink at the end of your visit.
This is worth visiting as her art pieces are extremely beautiful. Be it using wood or cooper to craving the masterpieces.
Bought some wood “peanut” at TWD50 as souvenirs for family and friends.
Recommended to all.

My wife and I are particularly fond of the type of carving done in a variety of media exemplified by this artist with whose art we were not at all familiar. The delicacy of the individual pieces makes this an especially delightful attraction.
