About
This is a wonderful waterfall not to be missed. Realised only locals go there and not tourist by coach as one needs to walk around 20 minutes at least to reach from the parking area. It is definitely a worth while fall to visit in Yilan.

Stunning.

There is some discrepancy as there are actually 5 waterfalls once you leave the parking lot, but they don't count the first one under the bridge, and the second appears to be seasonal when the rains come. The official 1st is viewed from the bridge and the official 2nd is viewed after climbing up some stairs (the Chinese inscribed stone calls it the 2nd). The stairs to the 3rd were under repair, but you can see it from the portico of the Sanctuary if you keep to the left when you go up the stairs. Definitely combine both sites- waterfall and sanctuary.

Can't miss this waterfall if you've ever visited Yilan
May 2020
It's definitely the must-see waterfall attraction in Yilan with 3 waterfall points at one site with well-built walking track. It is so great to feel the water splashing onto our skin especially in the hot summertime. I remember lying between the big rocks with my friend hiding from the sunlight. It was so chill with the cool breeze in the forest. Highly recommend this place whenever you stop by Yilan.

Nice hiking track with falls

This is a nice hiking track with falls. The track was along the river. It is very cool to walk on this track. The track are making with rocks, so sometimes slightly slippery.

It took a while to climb the waterfall, but there are paved roads along the road, and it will not be difficult to walk. At the end, you will see the beautiful waterfall up close

Pleasant walk

We took a taxi about 155NT from hotel Wellspring by Silks to the tower and called for cab to return. The waterfall has 3 levels. Total we spent 30 mins there. Climbing stone steps. Its quite pretty if you like nature thats accessible. We went early at 8am, so there were 40 pax there. Considered low peak. Its very near. 5 min cab ride at most.

Then call taxi to get down. 03-9882612.

Wonderful trail! Just one hour’s walk to the top waterfall. Don’t miss it!

Not so difficult, of course you need to step up, it takes around one hour or more for young people. I found some seniors and kids can also reach the top waterfall. Nice trails for all, highly recommended!

It’s a nice little stream and multiple waterfall. Not very spectacular, perhaps because the level three (highest) is closed due to road damage. It’s ok to spend one hour over there.
