Shame

The park open late and close early, you need to pay for everything, the park is old and the "attractions" are old and nothing special, the rides are fast, wich means you spend maximum 4min on the ride, some ride make you wet and you need to pay to use dryers... everything is make here to spend your money on small , basic and not fun attractions...
SO DESAPOINTED, it's like a bad copy of World Disney (very cheap version).
They even copy "It's a small world" from Disney, the same colors, the same theme song andvisual... Is that legal????
Spend your money somewhere else, the place is just a big mall with some attractions for teenagers (5 big attractions only).
Basicly the park is a long street, one side you have the road, the other side and behind you the mall... Maybe half a kilometer
NOT WORTHY AT ALL

Depressing and worthless
Dec 2019 • Family
I found this theme park too pricey for the standards they offer. Most rides are worn out and pretty boring for children below 10y. Ticket prices are ridiculously high and definitely not worth travelling to this mall. Just skip it !

Quite good!

there weren't many rides, but for thrill seekers there were two rides that were worth it. the rest were very kids-centric, which makes for good family fun. There were also some VR games but the waiting time for each was close to an hour.

overall, i felt it was nothing overly fantastic, but nevertheless its still a fun place to go for a day out, especially with family. Nothing compared to the Disneylands or Universal Studios of the world, just a small theme park in a small city.

Do not go if you're solo.
Sep 2019 • Solo
Don't even try. I went in the afternoon and the park was empty. As a solo traveller, they do not let you ride the rides without another person. Most rides operate on a four plus customer ratio, as a minimum. The vr on b1 required 3 people, many couples got rejected too. I waited most of the time, for people and usually left after twenty minutes. It's good for children around 5-10. It's not thrilling or exciting and I was left feeling sad. Most theme parks have perks and encourage solo riders, they don't discriminate. Comparing this with other theme parks is pointless. It's literally the worse one I've been to in terms of value for price and time andanguage barrier. No English map, no explanations, just guessing. Even the toilets are made for two
Menu and food is fried food and no vegetarian options.

Quite Good!

Do not compare this theme park to Disneyland or Disney World. Otherwise, you will be very disappointed. You have to remember this theme park is for the local folks. To be honest, this theme park has everything a theme park should except the price. A family of four will not hurt you pocket book as other major theme park would. This park is a place where you can spend quality time with your young children. Teenagers will be very bored here. The rides are not scary and very mild. None of the super thriller roller coasters that drops you from a ten floor height. This theme park is also very close to a outlet mall, theater, and a hotel. If you get bored of the theme park, you can spend your money at the outlet mall. This outlet mall is very large

Not for teens, excellent for kids
May 2019 • Friends
Went with a group of 6 teenagers (18-22), the rides are mediocre and the numbers are sparse. However, there are many indoor activities for kids (6-12) and I’m sure if you have children in that age range, they will enjoy themselves.

Waste of money Avoid at all cost
Nov 2018 • Family
Half the place is closed down they do not inform you before. Food places are not serving food!
Half the rides not operational.
This is a bad attempt at amusement park only thing amusing is them trying to call it that!

Total lack of customer service and prices charged for nothing is even more of a joke than this sad park!

Relatively small, but packed with fun

We finally came around to bringing our sons to E-Da Theme Park in Dashu District of Kaohsiung City. Compared to Disney World and SeaWorld, it is quite small. But, it doesn't cost too much, and there is not much walking necessary. They even have a small monorail to get you from one side of the theme park to the other. The rides are not too crazy, but there was one ride no one but my oldest son would ride. We spent most of the day enjoying the rides, and then had lunch at the big mall next door. We capped off our experience with a ride on the large ferris wheel, giving us a nice view of the area.

Small but fun for whole family
Dec 2018 • Family
Visited with our 8 year old. Though a small park it is filled with rides and entertainments both indoor and outdoor (actually more indoor than outside). Our son loved the VR game indoor but we loved the show in the grand theatre (that was such a worldclass show for a theme park - it has acrobatic, dance and magic). It showed at 2:15 and highly recommended.

Afternoon entry is sufficient
Dec 2018 • Family
This place is good for kids < 12 yrs, go there at 13:30hr for the cheaper afternoon entrance fee. Half day is sufficient for most of the rides on a weekday. If you are from Toronto the place would remind you of Canadian Wonderland, but a little more rundown. The restaurants and shops are largely deserted. We took a taxi and costed around 500TWD one way from downtown. Spent 15-20min waiting for a taxi on return. If you have to choose between Taroko Park versus this, choose Taroko Park - or at least the locals seemed to do so where we were there.
