Weather in Kenting was about 28 degree at mid day during end of December. Perfect for snorkelling. Water was incredibly clear and the corals and fishes were clearly visible under the bright sunlight. We kayak 100 metres or so out from the shore for snorkelling. Sea was calm and waves were not too strong. Feel not too cold in the water as we had wet suits. There are shower facilities by the shore which you will need to pay for. We signed up for the kayaking and snorkelling programme on KKday. The instructor provided guidance on kayaking and snorkelling if you are new to this. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.

This is a great place for a snorkel - there are steps that lead right into the water, and then you're away into some of the best snorkeling in Kenting. I recommend swimming out to the right, past the first part of dead coral near the shore, and then it really comes alive - some amazing coral and fish
