The road to this park is named after the windy factoid. It’s very windy that your cell phone is hard to keep steady. It’s also somewhat dangerous to stand too close to the cliff. However, the view is gorgeous and magnificent.

I have been to Longpan three times, and I still think it's definitely worth to visit! One of the most beautiful places in Kenting. A great views of shoreline, however the super strong wind will blow off your head. Sunscreen is a must! A boardwalk leads you to the cliffs. If you come here in the evening, you can even see the stars. It is free and 24/7 open :)

Probably the best view in Taiwan. During the fall we found a clear and finally not windy day to enjoy the view of the cliffs, grass, mountains, and ocean.

The view from the vantage point is breathtaking. You can come here on multiple occasions to see different colours and sights of the same park.
In the daytime, it can be hot and sunny even though windy. There are no places to find shade in this place, other than the small bus stop. There are also no toilets in this area.
Consider coming here to see the sunrise at 6am. If so, do take note that there are areas along the journey from Kenting town where there are no street lights, so be careful in your travels. Also, beware the strong winds coming in from the direction of the ocean at various times, so make sure you are covered up well.

And yes, sweep you off your feet in more ways than one. This is really a coastal feature that has amazing views and really strong, unfettered winds coming in from the ocean. Oh, just about everyone has said that already. Tip! Coming in from the south, look out for an unmarked opening to a trail. I found this to be better than the actual lookout point as it is all nature other than an abandoned water tank that has rubbish in it. There is more to walk and climb around at this unnamed spot. See if you can find it?

Beautiful view but extremely windy! Depending on the time, there may be tourists coming in tour group and will make it slightly more crowded. Parking slot is limited.

Spent a good 30 mins at this beautiful breath taking location and couldn’t bear to leave! On a sunny April afternoon, this place’s really windy yet not as warm as the beaches!

Finally made it here during my second trip! Missed this the first time due to time constraint. This time round due to rain, almost couldn’t make it.
I have seen shots of this place during different parts of the year. The feel is different.
Nice view and you can take some great photos here. I think with better weather the view would have been even better.

Easily accessible by riding an electric scooter or bicycle from Kenting town. Worth the trip to see the picturesque park!

Great view of the cliff, ocean and sandy beaches.
A must for visit Kenting. But only suitable for driving. Road narrow and up slope. Difficult for cycling.
