Watched sunset here!
Feb 2019
I am surprised that the sunset view here was good! Clear unobstructed view, nice area. Only thing is that we have to pay to enter the viewing deck area. But not too bad - ok to pay once in awhile since the weather was clear.

Wonderful views and sunset
Nov 2018 • Couples
This place can get pretty crowded, and there are plenty of spot in Kenting to experience the incredible sunsets, but if you're here for a trip or here with family then I highly recommend this place. The views are amazing, so it's well worth getting up there early and just enjoying the atmosphere, it's pretty easy to find a quiet spot. Kentings clean air gives some fantastic sunsets all year round....rare in Taiwan!

Sunset at southern tip of Taiwan
Jul 2017 • Friends
This temple offers great panoramas view of Guan Shan city on one side and on the other end offers great relaxing sunset.

Spend some time to understand the splendid and rich historical of the temple.

it also offers some trail which you can explore.

Sunset at the southern tip of Taiwan
Dec 2016 • Couples
This place is famous for its sunsets. You can always be surprised of what nature can offer to you. Every single second of the sunset hours is different, and every day is different. Definitely worth spending some good time enjoying the breeze and saying good bye to the sun for the day!

Good place to watch sunset
Oct 2016 • Couples
Most scenic spots charge an entrance fee. This one costs US$2/person. The hill top overlooks the Taiwan Strait and the sunset is pretty. However, tour buses come just before sunset so go a little earlier to secure a nice spot. And don't leave right away as the sky turns a beautiful red shortly after the sun sets.

Great scenic views of the coast! Come earlier to get a good spot - all the tours come 20minutes before sunset. Make sure you wear bug spray ;)

The most excellent view of Kenting
Jul 2015 • Family
Most people recommend to visit Guan Shan during sunset. No doubt, that would be perfect to be there while sunset. But believe me, visit Guan Shan in a cloudy day around 4 p.m. A stunning view is waiting for you. It would be a big surprise.
