National Tsing Hua University was established in Beijing then was transplanted to Taiwan with Chiang Kai-shek's retreating Nationalists in 1949. Tsing Hua University is a beautiful campus just out of Hsinchu City. The lake is especially attractive. It has a gazebo, which is very peaceful. The lake has many koi, which have a variety of pretty colors and patterns. Swimming or fishing in the lake is forbidden, the waters are deep and treacherous. The gardens are lush, and have many exotic trees. The campus is home to wildlife, such as squirrels, and a wide variety of birds. By the way, although Tsing Hua is best known for engineering, it hosts a wide range of academic disciplines. It's easy to spend and hour or two wandering through the gardens. Visitors are requested not to feed the animals.

National Tsing Hua University is one of Taiwan's outstanding universities for science and engineering. It is one the outskirts of the city of Hsinchu, one of Taiwan's high-tech centres. The university is quite pleasant, it has a pond with beautiful goldfish, and also a viewing platform. It's quite a popular place for taking pictures. You can get there by bus.

An academic institute, an educational center, a place full of young talents, nice sitting on a slope with small streams running through and a few lakes to vitalize and spiritualized the place. If you still have a thing for the youth games on the college football ground, basketball games, swimming pool, library, college cafeteria, music classes, clubs,... well, it's there. Always enjoy a quiet and nice walk in the campus!

The university is pretty big. I enjoyed walking around in the park, very big and beautiful. Also pretty peaceful.
