Old road bridge
Feb 2018
This used to be the road bridge that connects both sides of the gorge. Now it is used as a footbridge that connects both sides.

An Old Historical Bridge
Mar 2018 • Couples
This bridge that was built by the Japanese using different types of technology across the era has a rich history, and you probably need a local guide or host to explain more in detail given that there is no clear signboard or description of the history behind.

The bridge is now mainly used for tourists and is generally a quiet stop with comparatively fewer visitors than other attractions.

However, this is a nice stopover for photos of the current red color bridge now used for vehicles, and the valley (beside the bridge) and the ocean that is in the distance. There is a small, short trail that leads on from the bridge down into the valley, although we did not attempt it as there were a flight of steps going down.

Restroom facilities are available, as with a makeshift stall selling local fruits when we visited around noon time.
