Very nice dance that represents part of one of the hindu epics. Interesting and fun! Lovely local actors. You have to pay to enter the temple (30k, sarong included) and then inside you pay to see the dance (100k). Go around 16:30, so you can have a look around the temple before sitting in a good location. It gets overcrowded,... More

Have been to most attractions in Bali over the years but have never been to Uluwatu! What a wonderful experience was had, firstly viewing a wonderful sunset and then watching Kecak and Fire dance, completely mesmarising! Would recommend to everyone. Want to go back during the day to explore and take in the views!

I already watched this Kecak dance 4 times, first in 2012, then 2013, and two times this year in May and Juli 2016. first i love the temple area, its very beautiful, you can see very prety cliff and the temple, but be careful with the monkey. the monkey in this are is quite naughty, they will attract to bling... Visited with our three children 3, 9, 11. Well organized. The story was distributed in handouts, but difficult to understand due to the language. Very nice atmosphere and our children liked it.

What an amazing performance and Hanuman makes the play and performance that much more fun. Read up on it before going and be ready to take a lot of video!

First off - the show itself was beautiful and well rehearsed. I loved every minute of it. But, and good is a big but, when it was supposed to start (at 6pm) they still let people in. People was still entering 30 minutes after it had started, and was welcomed to so so. These people even got the best seats,... More

We were unsure of this at first but so happy we did it. The show was informative and interactive. It's interesting and funny. The costumes were beautiful and the input from the crew was genuine. My partner was called up twice to dance and participate. Overall, everyone walked away with a smile on their face :)

Very well performed and quite funny too. Get a seat about 30mins before the show starts or you'll have trouble finding a seat.

It was great to see a piece of Balinese culture. Though it was quite pricey at 100000 IDR and super crowded. Also make sure you bring water because it's a bit of a hike to get to the performance. Probably best to go on weekday to avoid the crowd.
