I came to surf here so my review is based more on the wave. The beach itself is pretty average to be honest although the setting is pretty amazing with the cliffs as a back drop. So I can understand if some people didnt think...More
Even though I did go in the water, there is a strong current and I suggest only good swimmers get in more than knee high. The water is amazing and there are a lot of places to eat and for parking (paying parking mostly). There...More
We started at the other end of Bingin and walked along the beach all the way to where the houses startes. Absolutely gorgeous at sunset.. but beware, the stairs are veery steeply down from the beach on the other side. Bingin is a wonderful place...More
Beautiful small beach, clean and clear water. Crowded, but not too much. A bit difficult to access, but worth every single step down (and back up). Restaurants are available, to have lunch on the spot.

Yes private driver, or Blue meter taxi. This will cost approx 150,000rp from the airport. (approx $15 dollars) There are 2 entrances to the beach of Bingin. The easiest and less likely to get lost is get the driver to take you to "The Temple Lodge" accommodation. This is the furthest they can drive.. a few paces in front you will find the path to the stairs. Approx 140 stairs but easy walk down and the view is to die for. A driver should not charge you more than approx $50 for a whole day therefore can wait. But it is easy enough if you taxi there to get a lift back out. You just need to pop into any of the accom. and ask to organise a driver or the little A - Mart selling drinks have a driver
