You will need to buy a ticket to take a raft ride into a mangrove swamp. The whole ride is 30 minutes. In the swamp, you will see four kinds of mangrove found in Taiwan and wildlife on both sides of the waterway. The water...More

In summary, its a slow, simple and quaint raft ride down a narrow river/canal with mangrove plants and small crabs at the side. The ride that I took was half hour long, with waiting time another half hour. There is a longer ride available but...More

The mangrove green tunnel is quite interesting. The raft ride takes about 30 minutes, takes you thru the mangrove tunnel, with very good explanation from the tour guide. Overall very enjoyable ride.

Nice but quite a short boat ride only. There were one or two short photo-opportunity stretches and that was it really.

Arrived there weekday afternoon with bus 99. Wasn’t so crowded, we waited maybe 20 min for the boat but it’s totally worth. The view and the nature were so beautiful. I’d like to go back again!!

The tree tunnel was very nice. There was a pretty long line and the boat was cramped (we sat on small stools). However, the mangroves were nice.

View is nice but boat ride very short. Everyone sits on tiny stools. Not very comfortable. All info in Mandarin. Will not visit again.

This would have been a great ride if the weather had been cooler -- we had cloudless, blue skies and 37-degree heat. The ride is interesting enough if you understand Mandarin and Hokkien. Our boatman was fairly entertaining and kept up a running commentary on...More

The Sicao Green Tunnel aka Lvshe Tunnel used to be a salt canal for transporting salt products from the drying field to the storage area. It's only about 750m long so the boat ride on the canal doesn't take all that long 20-30 mins in...More
