My friends and I visited 22 January We have been a few times before. We go back for the lovely vegan food, although we are not Vegan. I like my toast and tea cakes well toasted which they do. The prices are reasonable but the icing on the cake is the lady who serves us upstairs, she is friendly, very helpful and so obliging. We don’t live that near we go for the service and the good food. We had a Tai curry pasty which my husband really liked, he has tried several different ones now all delicious. I had a toasted tea cake and our 2 friend a full English breakfast. We will be returning to try more of the delicious food and to end the service. Excellent …

Went on the train to Christmas town for the 3rd year running and it was amazing again. We love this train as it’s a great couple of hours out. You don’t get off the train which is personally great and Santa comes into the train. All the staff were amazing. The young elves on the train were great fun and had everyone dancing and having fun. They set up the ramp for me to get on the train and they do have a pick up and drop off point for disabled people although that means someone else has to drive and go and park the car as the car park is a little walk away. Really worth the money and my 8 and 3 year old loved it. …

One working toilet on the whole train, understandably frustrated staff but who ranted outside said toilet in front of children which is not something you expect to see from a 'happy elf' on a Christmas train. Music kept breaking throughout which dampened the experience, credit to the elves for improvising and singing. We were meant to receive 2 train to Christmas town books, our reminder excluded the 2nd volume but I have received no refund for this despite being charged for it, I also did not receive the 1st volume but again I have not been refunded this. I have tried raising this with customer service but I have still not received anything from them.…
