- Mark JRyde, United Kingdom8 contributionsTranquil and amazing sceneryStayed here with my wife and 2 dogs for a week. The scenery was breathtaking and the sitte was excellent, clean and well kept. The toilets and showers were superb. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, always very happy to help. The local village has a great selection of shops and eateries. If I could give 8 stars I would Thank you to all the staff and owners for a fantastic weekWritten June 18, 2022
- ShelfWibbler3 contributionsStunning scenery with amazing camping facilitiesMyself and a few friends stayed here during a school reunion weekend. During the day we played football and collected firewood. As the sun went down we gathered round the fire pit to share stories while food cooked on the barbecue. I can honestly say our stay couldn't of been better, thank you!Traveled with friendsWritten August 6, 2015
- James DSalisbury, United Kingdom1 contributionAmazing location, friendly hosts, lots to do.. Had an amazing timeI came down for 2 nights with my family (2 under 3) 2 adults and stayed in the on site holiday cottage. the cottage was pre warmed (essential in winter in Wales) and fully stocked, we arrived late but the hosts had everything ready and the cottage was lovely. the following day we met Hannah the site manager and were given a tour of the site and its facilities including their future plans which sound great. Hannah was very helpful and accommodating, even lending us some kids toys to use during our stay! I could not recommend enough, a peaceful and beautiful location with animals, woodland and a short drive to the beach.Traveled with familyWritten November 13, 2017

We came here as a party of 2 couples. We had our own field with a fire pit as requested when booking. The owners are the nicest and friendliest people that we have come across via email, phone and face to face and are happy to help you throughout your stay. If you forget something they can help you through the their on site shop. We also booked kayaking through them which was an amazing experience. The scenery is amazing, we found it very peaceful with amazing views! We especially loved the lambs that were on site - they were so cute and friendly! They basically rent out 2 holiday cottages on steam. We would definitely camp here again due to the lovely scenery, friendly staff and hiking activities direct.

A small group of us decided to go camping over the weekend, just to relax and get away from it all. This place is wonderful, surrounded by beautiful scenery and you can go exploring.
The owners are very friendly and are there if you need anything, you can also buy or hire items you need.
We will go back again :)

Totally recommend Go Wild campsite at Pen Lan farm near St Clears in Wales. The views are stunning, the amenities are clean and well kept. The site is exceptionally family friendly and suitable for groups and families. Easy to get to from St Clears and major roads.
Tez and Hannah the owners are friendly and approachable and very welcoming.
The best thing about the site are the views of the Carmarthenshire countryside. Beautiful to wake up to. The forest walks and on site nature is fascinating.
Definitely a place to visit if you like camping. Or ... rent their cottage!

Second year camping here with my two daughters, a family run business, very helpful and friendly, and a guaranteed warm welcome! Some amazing views, with each field having its own fire pit! Lots to do either locally or short driving distance away. Very reasonable priced and would highly recommended for adult groups or young family’s.

Me, my partner, daughter, and 4 of our friends travelled here for the long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. Our tents were all set up for us, and they provided us with our own fire pit to put outside our tents. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. It was a fun and different way to spend the weekend, and as we had travelled from London it was a lovely change from our normal hustle and bustle of the city! The only downside was never having a very warm shower! Would definitely return!

This is the second year I have asked Go Wild Adventures to provide me a tent at a friends house party in Llangynog. We turned up to find the tent pitched and ready, bed made and everything just right. A discreet box with spare airbed and pump.
They did their job very well and organized pitching and striking the tent afterwards with no fuss. I'll be using them again.

Our 5th year of staying at this fantastic campsite.
We were a large group of 12 Dads and 19 kids. This site provides good simple camping where the children are able to run free and enjoy the door out doors safely. There aren’t many campsites like this.
The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating and really can’t do enough to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
The view from either of the three fields is simply beautiful. Highly recommended and we’ve already booked to go back next year!!

What is the price list for the activities you can book through Go Wild? Their website does not say
GoWildAdventures
St Clears, UK
Hi,
We do not list the prices as this will vary on the type of activity, the size of the group, the length of the activity and the availability of instructors.
We work closely with a number of instructors and providers to provide most activities to the groups staying at Go Wild. These are packaged in with your stay to fit around your timetable.
As an idea of what we can provide, the most popular activities we can arrange are:
Archery
Canoeing
Coasteering
Extreme Stream (crawling up a stream through mud and obstacles)
Kayaking
Laser battlefield (like paintballing but with lasers)
Orienteering
Rock Climbing
River Swim
Team building games
Ten Pin Bowling
As a guide, most activities range between £20 and £40, some can be less and some a bit more.
I hope this helps answer your question.
