If you are on the way through the Area, nice to pass by and see how many little areas in Germany have come about. They all started with some sort of religious start. First a monetary then the area expanded into a small village region. More of cultural experience. There's a nice restaurant opposite the monetary that serves a decently priced meal and a small playground for kids after they get bored.

Another great example of Bavaran rococo, in excellent condition after recent restoration and an idyllic setting (take a look at the "prelates' garden"). The church testifies to the incredible richness of Bavarian eccesiastical estates in the ancien régime. Granted, it does not rank with Munich's Asamkirche or Berg am Laim, but it's well worth a detour.

Fairly plain exterior, but inside the Abbey is like a beautiful wedding cake. Very rococo, all pink and gold with a beautiful while and gold organ, and painstakingly painted ceilings. There is a calm river and canal walk nearby. Clearly a working church as shown by the graveyard outside
