Fantastic! We were told that this park is perfect to enjoy with the children and it was absolutely true! Personally, I love the extreme attractions, with high speed and large adrenaline doses, and it's true this is not such an extreme park, but that is really interesting there is that you will be able to share all the attractions with your children. If you as thinking to visit the Black Forest, I recommend strongly to spend a day in the park. We spent a whole journey and I would repeat!

This amusement park is in a very nice place. You are surrounded by beautiful nature while enjoying the park. There are 3 major attractions. Two slides and a water slide with a little round boat. While you take o lift to one of the mountain slides you can enjoy watching wild boars and stags. There is also a galaxy rider slide, but we could not find the entrance to it. Too bad there were no signs and nobody to ask.

Different routes of roller coasters offered in the park which are fun for the whole family
More choices of restaurants should be provided

On a rainy day we drove the whole family to the park and because there are indoor facilities, we could spend half a day in the park.
There are roller coasters, cable cars and mountain skis and the park is hardly crowded.

Be ware ! the small coaster is totally unsafe , I got out of it with small injury (few people I have talked to said the same )

Don't miss : the roller coaster WITH VR (extra 2 euros per person )

Spent most of the day here with our kids- 13, 11 & 7.
Was great fun. The chair lifts were lovely - a leisurely day to make it up the mountain for the Toboggan run. The 80m Toboggan run was fabulous! One or two seaters.... and you can control your own speed, which is great. This is the case with most of the rides - you get to control your speed by pulling the handle towards you or away from you - perfect for the kids ( and me ) who don't like it so fast.
It was a day of mixed weather - a few short sharp showers, but there are indoor rides to enjoy during the rain and the outdoor ones dried up pretty quickly. It was probably due to the weather that the park was relatively quiet on the day we visited and therefore there were absolutely no queues for anything. All rides included in the price of the ticket, apart from the VR ride, which was an additional €2 per person.
Unable to comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat there.
Andre the clown was cute and funny - very good at what he does.
The animals dotted around were enjoyed by the kids.
My only complaint would be about the staff supervising the rides. Not one of them could crack a smile, and any conversation was out of the question. For a family park, the staff were most unpleasant, bordering on rude, particularly the lady supervising the Toboggan ride in the afternoon. Friendly staff would give this park a 10/10 from me.

This was a great place to spend the day with my 11-year old nephew, 16-year-old niece, and my sister. It's a small mountainous park with rides that will actually thrill you, because they don't require the same safety procedures as they do in the USA. The mountain coaster is single or double on a cart, which you control the speed of. There's an attendant at the beginning, but you're expected to exit on your own (as you are with all of the rides). The only thing keeping you from running in to the person ahead of you is your own common sense. They'd never get away with the toboggan run in the USA because there is no attendant, you load your own sled onto the track, there's no safety harness of any sort, and the only thing keeping you from tipping over is your own common sense. Use the right hand track it's faster! In addition to the several great rides (we did them all multiple times) there are play areas for littler kids, lots of trails, and lots of animals, many of which you can see while riding the chair lift up to the top of the mountain for the toboggan run (you can also walk down across the suspended bridge). The rides are generally pretty short, but we went on a Wednesday in June and there were virtually no lines so we did them over and over. Would recommend it to anyone.

Steinwasen Park is quite small and the attractions are less compared to other modern theme parks. But one could enjoy a whole day with Family and kids. Definitely an enjoyable visit for the kids, especially the indoor and outdoor playing areas. Due to less crowd, the waiting time at the rides is quite less. All rides are Kids friendly, thought Minimum age requirement is 4. The entry price though could have been a little cheaper considering the limited attractions.

Amazing park and rides for all ages. We are a family of 3 with a 6yr old and all of us enjoyed all the rides. The queues are much shorter compared to Legoland UK, we visited during Easter break in April. We didnt have enough time to cover all the activities/rides so I would recommend to be early to have a blast..
The only complaint we have is that smoking is permitted everywhere in the park!!! Legoland in UK has designated smoking areas but this park allows all over the place. At the end of the day we felt like we were still breathing cigarette smoke.

Although this park was geared toward families and children, my wife and I enjoyed our visit, which was free thanks to the Hochschwarzwald Card.

We enjoyed the rides and the animals, and it was a nice way to spend a few hours.
