中山古城遗址在这里可看到的东西还是比较多的，有明显的长达数百米的古城墙，也依依稀稀看到古城内的断墙残垣，远远的还有个圆圆的山包不知是不是传说中的赵王台。走在已成耕地的城墙遗址上，幽古之心油然。。。尽管是全国重点文物保护单位，也看不出保护措施。
