    fun but exspencive
well although we had a lovely day visiting two of the big shopping malls this being one of them, they are very expensive probably about a third more then the uk. the only thing reasonable was the food which we enjoyed. do not let the taxi drivers take you to there shops as was all copies, these malls are real deal but all expensive.

Is was okay it has burger king ,KFC ,Ocean Basket, Nando's etc. Shop are reasonable . Artisan coffee is better than cafe lux but if you have a laptop with you it is the inverse. Decathlon is not in the mall. Pretty much the average mall.

Cracking little find on a day out exploring the island. Our waiter at the Intercontinental advised us to try this place and he wasn't wrong.
Lovely, clean, fresh looking mall with a whole host of differing brands and budgets. (UK folk will get the woolworths picture ;) )
Really well layed out and easy to navigate, with good covid protocols in place.
Ensure you wear your mask at all times (currently) and keep this lovely place open and trading.

I cannot believe I drove over an hour to get to Bagatelle Mall.
It was very disappointing.
Small, disappointing selection of shops. For some reason I thought there would be High end shops, but there weren’t. A Calvin Klein & a Hugo Boss. That was it.
Honestly, La Croisette at Grand Baie has more / better selection of shops.
If you live near Bagatelle then yes go visit, but do not make a special trip.
Especially if you are used to actual shopping malls…

Woolworths of Mauritius sells crap products. Very BAD QUALITY for VERY HIGH PRICE. Their Beauty Care Products might get you sick with IRRITATING SKIN or WORST.
BEWARE PEOPLE!!!

Bagatelle is a great shopping centre. But I had issues with one of their stores:
Extremely disappointed with this store. A complete let down. When I walked in, the staff in the store guaranteed that all handbags were European. All handbags and luggages are pretty pricey. Considering that their products were quality European made, I decided I wpuld buy a handbag for my wife. Several times I asked the staff at the store where the bag was made and originated from. The staff guaranteed that it was from France showing me the label David Jones Paris. Little did I know that I was being manipulated. Having paid the hefty price for it, I was satisfied with my purchase. But my satisfaction was cut short when to my error I found a label well concealed inside the bag containing the words "made in PRC". PRC as in People Republic of China. I was gutted and felt I was taken advantage of. I trusted the staff and thought they were of good faith. The price is obviously outrageous as the bag was in reality made in China at very low cost. There's hardly anything I can do because I discovered this after I've left the country. So I can't go back in store. So buyers please beware. Don't rely on what you're being told by the staff of this store. Moreover, they don't have a refund policy if you are unsatisfied. I have been misled by the staff who have provided me fake information which led to the purchase. This is very unfair on me. So buyers be extremely cautious and avoid any regrets and disappointments.

So pleased we found this quaint indoor market. Best place to buy gifts for family and friends back home! A pleasant shopping experience... much better than the Flea market which we found quite chaotic with store owners pushing their wares onto you.

The prices are between 30-80% more expensive than Europe. Not a nice shopping experience at all -rip offs. The mall is nice but prices do not make sense. The exact same articles you find in a normal mall in Central Europe are so much more expensive it was a joke.

When on honeymoon recently I discovered that I had forgotten to pack a few holiday essentials. Our hotel shop was very overpriced so we took a taxi to this mall for an hour or two and it was very pleasant. Modern, many branded name shops, a large supermarket and an outdoor food court. We picked up some great souvenirs and some holiday shopping quickly and headed back to our resort. ATM also so can stock up on local currency if required

Bagatelle Shopping complex is NOT in Port Louis as the address may imply. It is just off the main motorway from Curepipe/Rose Hill to Port Louis. The complex is full of good shops and eating places from simple Food Court snacks to top restaurants, including Nando's, Mug and Bean, Flying Dodo (where you can get home-brewed beers) and Ocean Basket, to name a few. Our particular favourite is the Sitar Indian Restaurant which is one of the top Indian restaurants on the island. The food is excellent and the waiters are first class...you will not be disappointed.
