The hike in and of itself is fantastic but be advised that the boat that normally brings you form les passerelles to monteynard (where you can take the bus back to grenoble) does not function off-season. You can get there by bus from Grenoble to Rossard and hike to the passerelles (a few hours of beautiful hiking, all marked) but to get from the passerelles to Monteynard you will need to hitch-hike if you are not going by car. Also the bus stop in Monteynard is at the very top of the hill.

Perfect place for a nice hike. You can choose different routes depending your appetite for distance. 2 suspension bridges, awsome place for surfing and kite surfing. The water colour is unrealisticly blue.

We started our walk from Treffort. The walk takes you arround this enormous artifical lake of 600 hectares large.
You will walk next to the lake, in a forrest and over 2 suspended bridges.
Make sure you book your boat trip back before you leave.

We absolutely loved the lake - it was very picturesque and calm for paddle boarding and swimming. We rented paddle boards from the Wind Club Monteynard who unfortunately didn’t seem bothered with the boards that they gave us. Many were not inflated enough and they ended up swapping one board for a canoe when we took it back as the paddle board was curling up at the edges - so not the experience that we all expected. Advantages were full use of the lake as paddle boarders.

Nice and dynamic spot and with 2 camp grounds nearby the water front. If you like windsurf, sub, canoeing, catamaran sailing, vtt, walking, swimming... this is an interesting holiday spot to drive to.

What an amazing place! The water is a turquoise blue and clean. The beaches are pebbles, so take wet shoes. Lots to see and do on the water, including kite boarding, windsurfing, swimming and boats to hire.

Great for hiking and biking (I ran a race here while my partner brought his bike along), with some truly astounding scenery on the summits. The himalayan footbridges were quite a special experience, although some, especially young kids, may be frightened by how it sways with a load and a strong wind blowing - I'll admit I was personally petrified.
The artificial lake is best visited in the height of summer, when jumping into the clear waters brings amazing relief. There are several water sports and rentals available in the area.
There's food and facilities in the area. Great way to spend an entire day (or weekend, or a whole week...) in summer.

We saw lots of wildlife while walking down to the himalayan walkway - dozens of different butterflies, lizards, wild flowers. Walking out over the water is quite exhilarating, my children loved it. All free, took about 1.5 hours there and back.

Merci à ceux qui me repondront

Quel itinéraire me conseillez vous svp?

Cordialement
Denis
