We spend an interesting afternoon in the castle. The view is fantastic from the top of the castle. Interesting to see the silk worms and the museum with the silk production machinery. Do not forget to visit the ghost in the cellar.

Friendly place. A bit of a mix of histories (silk/Huguenot/ medeval) but still interesting. The view from the ramparts was lovely. There's also a "meet-the-ghost" dungeon exhibit which was a bit scary for our 5 year old but is probably fine for older kids.

We loved the tour in the castle - different languages (dutch included). the silk worms were fascinating to see upclose. the dungeon was a nice ending but our children were quite terrified - so not to do with children who scare easily!
