Just for families

The wildlife trail is poor. Lots of cages and espacially the bird cages far too small. You cannot make good pictures because you cannot get close to the fence (double fence)

Fun in the winter sun
Mar 2021 • Friends
My friends and I went to visit Two Rivers wildlife park on March 7th/21 .
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon. The Forrest trail and the animals were amazing(I took many photos)one of our friends (who had seen the animals)took her snowshoes and walked around the open fields in the park. I highly would recommend visiting here.

Great for all ages

Two Rivers Wildlife Park is so much fun and they do incredibly important work. This is a great place for folks of all ages, and an especially great way to teach kids about wildlife.

Incredible! One of the highlights of our trip.

We met one of the handlers. It was so obvious that he loved the animals and they loved him. He played with one of the big cats (from outside the cage of course), and it seemed so happy to play along. He called for the mooses and they came up from the woods. Buy lots of treat bags. The mooses and beavers ate from our hands. Inexpensive - $6 over 55, $8 adult Canadian. Loved, loved, loved the experience.

Family fun

This is a very relaxing place to visit. You travel at your own pace. Lots of animals to see in the park with a petting zoo, duck pond and play ground.

acoustic roots festival
Sep 2018 • Family
attended the festival for the weekend. was amazing!! read some reviews here that kind of confuse me. the main building was new and had brand new bathrooms and showers that were spotless. the animal trail was well maintained and easy walking. seems that there may be some confusion about what kind of park this is. its an animal rescue not a zoo. any animals that look sore or ill are there for exactly that reason...they are rescued animals that cant survive on their own. releasing into the wild is not an option. the enclosures are overgrown for a reason..to keep them in as natural a habitat as possible. the review of the observatory was harsh. the man that runs it is a volunteer that spends his weekends there keeping it open late into the night for anyone that wishes to visit. he has high tech equipment that he makes available for anyone that wants to see some interesting night views. myself, my mother and my aunt visited Saturday night and he was so patient and excited to show us everything. the park staff are wonderful and helpful. teenagers spent their nights delivering firewood to the campers. none of these people are paid. most are volunteering their time to help the park. they are all doing a fabulous job considering the park runs on fundraising money and admission funds. such a shame to see people making unfounded and unfair reviews. my kids have been going to this park since they were little and have a beautiful time every time. there have been may upgrades to the park over the years and they continue to upgrade when their fundraising efforts make it possible. was also looking at the new playground that is being put in with the wheel chair accessible ramp.

Three seniors on a weekend
Sep 2018 • Friends
We visited for the Accoustic Weekend for three days, four nights. One lady who had walking issues was transported from our site to the main stage by very accommodating staff. Concert was awesome, well organized and lots of food and clean washrooms on site. Two of us did the long trail...it was recently cleared out, but we felt could have more signage, especially at junctions. It is a beautiful hike, and we were fortunate to see a barred owl. The scenery throughout is fabulous. The camp sites well maintained. Ask for a fire pit or table and it appears!? We felt the animals in the petting zoo and the llama could have been brushed, or the loose wool removed. There were horse shows throughout the day, which we didn’t watch, but those participating seemed to enjoy. Washrooms and showers were clean. The staff extremely helpful. We will be back!

sad for the animals
Sep 2018 • Couples
came for the musice festival which was very good. Took the wildlife trail which was sad and a bit pathetic. Animal enclosures looked like prisons and all I wanted to do was free the anumals from their cages. Not much of a habitat for many of the poor creatures. I was a bit surprised considering how environmentally sensitive Canada seems to be. This wildlife park would serve tha animals better to free them or spend money on a better habitat for them. It was a bit depressing at best. The rest of the park was nice.

Great Experience for Young and Old
Aug 2018 • Family
Strolling through the bush on a desperately hot muggy afternoon was a perfect activity for our family. The walking is easy and shady. Placed along the route we found beaver, bears, caribou, deer, emu, cougars, and much more.our American cousins even checked off a bucket list item when a moose strolled up to the fence to say hello.
