Great day out and worth every penny!
Antonis has great English and gives a very straightforward, well-humoured briefing at the start of your day.
Boats are in great condition and simple enough to operate. And plenty fast enough. Suggest you take optional GPS, coolbox and snorkel gear - rock up with passport/driving license and provisions for the coolbox and you are away! Have a nice lunch village on opposite pennisula.

Blue Secret Boats are a 8min, €6 taxi ride from Kassandra Palace resort.

Well conditioned boats and good instruction. Perfect for a sea day to enjoy the lovely cost and sea. We were in good hands by Tony and his guy. @ Tony: Maybe you should inform clients about gasoline consumption in various rev. of the engine. Take care christian and thx for the day

We hired a boat from Blue Secret and had an amazing day. We were two adults and two young children. You book the boat online then on the day you go down to Polychrono beach and turn left then keep walking past all the restaurants and all the sun loungers and you will spot the flags. On arrival they do some paperwork and give you instructions on how to drive the boat, change the fuel, where to go etc. Then off you go! You don’t need to have any prior experience and you can’t really get lost. We hired a gps system which whilst useful for getting around was more useful to know how deep the water was especially when approaching the shore. We found some nice deserted coves where we dropped anchor and swam from the boat and had a picnic. You can have the boat from 9am - 7pm and prices are as follows. Boat hire €120, cool box €5, fishing rod €5, gps €10. You will also have to pay for any fuel used we used almost 2 tanks and paid just under €80. All in it cost €219 to hire the boat and equipment for the day. The boat has a canopy to give you some shade but don’t rely on it for sun protection as the shade moves as the boat changes position. If you are thinking of doing this then give it a go, it was by far the best way to see the area and you get across to the other peninsula easily.

So got a taxi from Sani beach resort with the family for a day out on the ⛵ Antonis was very clear and fair from the start! I've been out on many boats in Zakinthos and Corfu but blue secret boats were best maintained by far. Would not hesitate to hire a boat again from Antonis, Great guy. Regards Daniel,Gem,Holly & El 😎

Unpleasant experience. Lost time.
After renting the boat for the next day and paying the advance, when going to pick up the boat the personnel were verbally rude, did not have what we paid for in advance(gps and iceboxes) and told us we have to be back in less then four hours because there is a chance of a thunderstorm. We asked if we could rent the boat the following day, were told we could do so but losing the advance payment and costing 500 euro and having to have one of their skippers. The second price and terms we got from them is nothing of what they advertised on the site. 140 euro on the website vs 500 eur at the location. No skipper vs skipper and we all have boating licenses. I mean why the fuss with a skipper for a 5 person boat?
They did not want to return our deposit when we told them we don’t want the boat on these terms. In conclusion we got burned by a team of arrogant thiefs. I recommend avoiding them if you want to keep your nerves and wallet intact.

This review unfortunately has nothing to do with the real facts. The gentleman who refers to us as "arrogant thieves" was refusing to take the proper safety briefing by rudely interrupting our instructor continuously with the phrase "yes yes I know...". He was insisting on picking up other passengers from a different location, which is protected area for swimmers. This is highly dangerous and illegal, something that you could expect from a licensed skipper to know. Plus, he admitted that there would be six people onboard, when we clearly explained that our boats are for five. We did not ask to be back four hours later, but we kindly advised them to be in a certain area of the map by that time, simply because we have real time weather forecast from a satellite and we were expecting strong winds (never said anything about thunderstorms). We did the same for all our clients that day. We certainly couldn't refund, something the reviewer already knew due to the terms and conditions of the booking, and of course to the fact that he appeared three and a half hours later than the given appointment. The price of 500 euros was referring to a completely different kind of boat than that of their booking. A Sea Ray 190 state of the art boat, that we cannot rent without presence of our company's skipper. It is sad how a person can so easily distort facts and call us names, just because of their inability to comply to the general rules of safety and logic. Best regards sincerely Antonis

We wanted to book a boat so we could tour the area at our own pace with two young children. We requested the Friday but due to winds we were advised to travel on Sunday, our last day. Unfortunately my daughter, 4 years was sick in the early hours of the morning. I contacted the owner to see if we could cancel. I sent two messages at 9am and tried ringing twice. No response.

In the small print it says if you do not arrive by 11am you are required to pay full amount and no guarantee of a boat. My daughter said she’d like to go and try.

We arrived at 10am and there was a large group being given the instructions by owner. By 11am we were no yet on a boat and needed to wait 10 minutes for boat to be dropped into the water. A young lad then gave some instructions but seemed very distracted. We were keen to set off as our two young children had been waiting a long time in the heat. Once we set off we realised he did not show how to use the anchor!

We thought we would keep it simple and head to the closest cove. Unfortunately, after a short time on the water, my daughter was not feeling so good. We decided to head back and needed to put her first. We dropped the boat off at 1pm and asked if we could have a half day rate given the circumstances. The owner on the phone said it’s not his problem and it’s only full day rate. So we said we would speak to the grandparents and might return later if they could look after our children. They then said they couldn’t guarantee the boat would be here. 🤔

After some more discussion, the owner offer €20 Euro discount off which was minimal due to the €150 charge (we hadn’t used much fuel). As we were discussing, another customer came wanting to rent a boat so they would’ve easily found someone to rent the afternoon.

Unfortunately, it was an expensive mistake for us!!! The boats were lovely and I’m sure if we went as a couple we would’ve made the most of the experience. Sadly, I am giving a poor review as they didn’t answer our calls or messages, didn’t show empathy having a poorly child and couldn’t change the rate as we only used the boat for just over an hour or keep it docked for our return later.

Dear lady, at 9am it is extremely difficult to read messages as well as answer the phone as our work is at sea. According to the cancellation policy you were aware of the deposit, you will be refunded in full if you update 2 days in advance. I quote you the cancellation policy "In the event of a cancellation by the customer 2 days prior to the agreed arrival, BlueSecret is required to return the entire deposit if the cancellation occurs in less than one day. of the canceled order, the cancellation becomes the agreed upon arrival, the customer owes the BlueSecret the entire amount of the order. " Our priority in the Blue Secret is your safety and therefore the time required for the instructions depends on the questions posed by the "captains to be", so I am not going to apologize for any delay. The times, however, seemed a lot to you because you didn't want to participate. I have very clear in my mind your image of standing at a distance and being irrelevant. The instructions for using the anchor are the first to follow the instructions on the map. Ask those who participated. If your daughter wasn't feeling well and you had to get out of the sea, you certainly wouldn't be responsible for the Blue Secret for demanding half the cost. Remember that in our phone call, you demanded and blackmailed us that if you didn't pay half the rent for the boat, you would write a bad review on Trip Advisor, and probably the 20 euro discount you received was not enough. We are really sorry for you, who are using social networks to get better treatment. Sincerely Antonis

For a one das Trip it is Perfect, the boats are in good condition, equipped with extra tank, extra engine etc. an the 30 HP motor (without driving licence) is enough to come araound a lot with driving fun. We went the whole day and it took 40 lt. of petrol. The rental is the only one with a licence where you can drive around nearly where you want without mile limitation . Better choose a day with less wind and Waves.

Discover this on our last days of vacation, rent a boat and had a fantastic time. Owner was very attentive, with simple and understandable explanations of how to drive a boat and how to manage our cruising. It was a pleasure to have this experience. Greetings from Aleksandar, Marko, Vladimir (not Putin) and the rest of the crew members.

We rented a boat again after a great experience last year. We arrived at 9.15am but we're left waiting for over an hour as our boat wasn't ready despite booking a month in advance. We had a problem in that when trying to moor the boat for a quick break we clipped rocks and even though there was literally no damage we were charged another 150 euros even though we purchased the insurance. You aren't given a map which clearly outlines areas of high risk and even when you hire the GPS (which we did) you are told not to rely on it. Sadly we wouldn't risk it again as a few hours hire ended up costing us £350 so not worth it. You have to stop somewhere to use a loo so theres no avoiding the risk, but without safe areas highlighted a toilet break could cost you £300 in fines for superficial damage through clipping a small rock

Dear Madam / Sir. Let's be honest and truthful when making a public criticism. The delay was not due to inadequate preparation of our team but over time as the coast hit the waves and there was no possibility of having all 12 boats on the shore for fear of causing damage, which we explained during the morning briefing. From the beginning you knew that the cost of breaking or bending the propeller is 300 euros. Since we only charged you 150 euros you should say thank you. From the beginning you knew that Premium Insurance costs 10 euros to cover everything, but regardless of the amount of damage you pay the first 400 euros. Also during the morning training, you were asked how to read the nautical charts used by GPS Sonar, we showed you the most important points on the map with rocks and reefs. We also told you the safety distances you should keep off the coast. When you open GPS Sonar on the home screen there is a message that you accept "All information is presentedfor referenceonly. You assumetotal responsibility and risk associated with using this device". Whether you hit a small rock or a large rock, the damage is damage. The propeller loss rate is only 2%, so we certainly can't talk about risk. For us, the most unpleasant moment is when we have to ask you to pay extra damage. If it was worth the experience to become a captain for a while, get to know and repair places that you wouldn't have been able to with any other vehicle, etc., you said at the beginning "We rented a boat again after a great experience last year". Sincerely Antonis
