Visited the nursery on 19 Aug 2021 . Very close to centre of town on the way to the waterfall about 35km from VanRhynsdorp. There is a little restaurant on site where you can sit down or have a take away. There are numerous types of succulents as well as Quiver/Koker trees . Interesting place to visit

What an array of succulents and aloes. Definitely worth the visit if you are interested in plants. They have a small restaurant/eatery on site as well.

It was an educational experience. All the plants were clearly marked with botanical and local names - very interesting. neatly set out and a beautiful exhibition.

The Kokerboom Nursery has a wide variety of succulents for sale, including some beautiful Aloes. It was also impressive to see the big, iconic Quiver trees (Kokerbome) spread around the property. However, unfortunately, there weren't any available for purchase. Right next door to the nursery there is a coffee shop as well, perfect to relax at after doing some shopping. Overall, the Kokerboom Nursery isn't particularly special or a must see, but I still enjoyed my visit.

Interesting display & variety of succulents. Managed to buy some succulents & bring home successfully. Also bought "buchu" leaves which I believe has health properties.

Any person who loves and admires the flora of Namaqualand should visit the Kokerboom Nursery in Vanrhynsdorp to see and purchase some indigenous plants of the area. The nursery has been there for many years and we don't pass without a visit. It is one of the best indigenous nurseries in the country!

this nursery has a number of things to recommend it; A small but interesting selection of local products in its farmstall, a good array of local succulents for sale and clean bathrooms. This pretty nursery is definitely not to be missed on your way through Vanrhynsdorp.

I really appreciated the ethical selling of succulents in this area - rather than people just digging things up illegally. the selection was good and I just loved wondering around looking at the amazing details of so many different plants. Lots of old artifacts and memorabilia on display too. Fascinatiing!
