My father had wanted to visit for some time, so we decided to have a look. What a little gem, the cafe served great food with local produce and reasonably priced. So lunch was devoured and we walked it off around the lovely gardens. Lots to see if you are into gardening, water features and different kinds of places. We... More

I'm more of a photographer than a gardener, but I enjoyed these gardens and took some beautiful photos of idilic garden settings. I also enjoyed several quirky follies that are situated around the grounds. My wife who is a gardener really enjoyed our visit. Although I have ticked the suitable for young children box there is nothing to entertain them... More

We visited today intending to go around the gardens but instead we just had a delicious scone and bowl of gorgeous soup at the cafe and decided the gardens were too expensive which was a bit sad really.

Delightful centre with beautiful gardens of wild plants and flowers. The entry fee was quite excessive at £6.00 for what it was but the tearoom was lovely with outside seating as well as inside seating. There was hot and cold treats on offer at reasonable prices. My companion and I had a goats cheese and red onion quiche with salad.... More

We visited Westonbury water gardens today. We had a leaflet from a local tourist information site stating the price at £4.50 per adult, we had taken the correct amount of money with us only to find on arrival that the price was £6.00 per adult. We also found that the female assistant whom we paid was not over welcoming. Still... More

You must visit this special place. It is the life work of a man who bought a wilderness and converted it by sheer hard work into a wondeful garden. A feast of colour, fantastic follies and interesting plants and trees around every corner. Must also mention the tearoom where we had a lovely lunch which consisted of good, wholesome food,... More

Came upon this by accident, and so pleased we did. A lovely tranquil meander through beautiful flowers and lots of little surprises such as the bottle house, the tower with the gargoyles, etc etc, And you must make sure you are at the cuckoo clock tower on the hour. I had a bumpy ride on my mobility scooter but managed... More

I went to this place to buy plants for my new pond, both for in the water and marginals. The plants sales area was woefully inadequate. Although the plants were labelled with their Latin names, the staff member in charge did not know anything about them, their common names, or what conditions they liked. The waterproof linings of the tables... More

Lovely quirky garden, well worth a visit. Well maintained with lots of different plants and trees. The follies are great fun. My husband was very happy with the amount of butterfly's, dragonflies and damsels that were everywhere! (It's his thing😄). Nice little tea room there as well. A labour of love, would not hesitate going back. Beautiful place.

I travelled here with Dudleys Coaches and when we arrived the owner Richard Pim came on the coach and told us how he had purchased the old Mill and land and how over sixteen years he developed the garden and built the follies. It is a real joy to walk around this garden with a surprise at every turn my... More
