The first floor (we were told, only not by our guide) is apparently in disrepair, so you can only see the ground floor. Perfectly competent and knowledgeable guide, if a little perfunctory. Four euros admission, half hour commentary.

Mistral's home and museum in the sleepy little town of Maillane are about as removed from the current touristy, fairground feel of St Remy as one can get. Combine with a visit to Les Baux or St Remy. (Sundays are good, for Maillane at least, and parking is relatively easy.) This isn't the Pont du Gard, so tourists are few... More
