The exterior and interior of the church is beautiful. We went in just before a service started and music was playing. All the building is made of wood as are the figures of Christ etc

Although the Isla Grande de Chiloe boasts a number of timber churches (16 of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites), the Iglesia San Antonio de Chacao is not one of them. This church, dating from 1710, is made out of metal sheeting, which gives it an eccentricity which is ell worth a photograph or two. Inside is even worth a look.
