We found the products to be very expensive and not sure if the promises made are accurate so didn't want to risk a hefty purchase.
The restaurant was poor, nothing healthy to eat at all so gave it a miss.
Toilets clean!

Very interesting store and the factory of the Ahava products, as for prices I can say little, as they seem reasonable for what you will pay at the airport or in other stores in town, the options are bigger here and you get the assistance of the sales people, still is worth to see and visit even if you don´t buy.

Friendly and bright shop at the AHAVA plant. Nice and multi language speaking staff consults you at any time; video at the cinema room takes you deeper into the Dead Sea skin care know how.
Watch the production while shopping. Refresh and snack at the bar after getting great value packs!
Any time again - it’s worth stoppin‘ & shoppin‘!

The tour buses stop here so that guides can get their kick backs. The Ahava products are sold all over Isreal - so no need to buy here.
The shop is nice and does have all the products. The staff can answer questions.
You can look in the window and see workers packaging the products.
Rest rooms, souvenir stand and snack bar.

Our guide brought us here just before Qumran and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Nice boutique and you can see the preparation and packaging of the goods in the factory behind the glass window, personnel wearing uniform and masks as in a laboratory, cute. A young man was keen to show us a video but we didn't have enough time as we were searching for favorite products like mud masks, shower gel and body lotion. A Filipino lady staff member was able to assist us by recommending the eye serum. We bought more than 300 shekels of stuff as discounts were genuine, actual factory prices similar to the outlet at Masada, and later, we found out, slightly cheaper than duty-free at Tel Aviv Airport where we flew off. Free gifts such as sachets of mud mask were generously given. Even the souvenir shop attached had Mejul dates at reasonable prices and interesting food items. Alas, not enough time as we wanted to use their clean toilet facilities as well.

It is horrible. Gold is cheaper than their products. You find their products at other stores at some 50% of what they sell them right there where they suppose to be fabricated. They use all kinds of tricks to make you believe they give you discount, and other things like that. They give a percentage of sells to the driver of the buss and the guide in order to bring tourists there. Stay away from them. They mess up the reputation of the country.

It is hard for me to get excited about a magical skin elixir derived from the Dead Sea. It seems to be a compulsory stop for tour buses. If you have a choice, give it a miss.

This is a "shopping stop" for all the tourists buses. They say it is cheaper to buy here than in the shops. Whilst that they may be true, the prices are still high and, if you do buy anything, your little bit of plastic will come out feeling bruised. We thought we were also going to have an explanation of how the salt is extracted from the Dead Sea, etc. No such chance!

Well this is a shopping/toilet stop for most tourist busses from/to Dead Sea. Fairly large selection of products. The price is slightly lower than shops elsewhere in Israel (airport and malls), so if you want to buy there it would be more for convenience than for any major price advantage.

I see this place is in an illegal settlement i.e. stolen land.
Does that mean visitors are also breaking international law?
Surely trip Advisor should have some sort of warning about dodgy listing. An illegal settlement amounts to a war crime under international law?
