I'm Habis, I've been working in tourism since childhood, I started by helping my brother and now doing on my own. I offer jeep tours, camel ride, hiking tours and trekking. The tours are adapted for everybody : families, backpackers, couples, adventurers, hikers, comfort addicts, snorers… Everyone is welcome to Wadi Rum Stillness! I almost didn't book the tour because it was on a very short notice (Friday evening for Saturday morning) and I was travelling alone, but I decided to go for it anyways and I'm so, so glad I did! This experience was truly amazing and I had an unforgetable time in the desert. My only regret is to not have stayed for longer.
I booked a one day Jeep tour with overnight stay and a one hour camel ride. Habis organized my transfer from the hotel to the village and back. He welcomed me at his house with a cup of tea. Since other tourists didn't show up, I ended up having my very own and private tour through the desert. There were a lot more tourists than expected, but Habis made sure to navigate around big crowds. He shared a lot of interesting information around the stops and as an avid camel lover and former camel guide, he gladly answered my 1000 camel related questions (I recommend asking him about camel races, it's pretty interesting :)). He tought me how to drive in the desert and even let me drive many times over the course of the day, that was so much fun! We had lunch with another small group, sitting on the ground enjoying some freshly brewed tea while the guides were cooking lunch for us. Habis took many pictures of me, helping me capture this unique experience in more than just selfies. He also tought me some words in arabic, how to write my name in arabic, how to differentiate fox footprints from wolfs footprints etc.
The camp was super cute. Simple, but with everything necessary. I decided to sleep under the stars last minute which was not a problem (I asked to see the place first as I was not entirely sure I would feel comfortable and once again Habis was very accomodating and brought me to the place). I had dinner with a small group of other tourists, which was very good. We played cards for a bit around the fireplace and after that I was brought to the place a minute drive away from the camp. The place was simple yet incredibly beautiful. I didn't get to see many stars because it was cloudy and full moon, but the moon made the valley look like we actually were on the moon!!! I was worried I might be cold during the night, but the fire sure helped and the blankets held me warm throughout the entire night.
Wadi Rum Stillness truely deserves its name, because Stillness is exactly what you get in the middle of the desert, without phone service, in the simplicity of a bedouin tent or under the stars, when the engine stops and all you can hear is your own breath. Best detox I've ever had.
I was worried to travel alone as a woman, in a muslim country and far away from anything I knew, but I was treated with nothing but kindness, generosity and respect and I felt safe the entire time.
I would do it again anytime and 100% recommend it.

My experience with Wadi Rum Stillness was great. I took the 1 day / 1 night Desert Jeep tour as a single female and felt completely comfortable and safe spending the night at the camp. Habis was very accommodating with my schedule, consistently available in answering questions, and extremely organized. The pre-trip information he sent was very helpful as well. The camp is beautiful and far from the village, providing a great opportunity to view the stars and enjoy a quiet and peaceful night. I was especially impressed with the clean and updated bathrooms. It definitely felt like we were secluded in the middle of beautiful Wadi Rum. The staff was also excellent. Our cook at the camp was wonderful and went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed and were happy. Our guide (as well as Habis) had grown up in the desert and knew everything about Wadi Rum. He made sure that we always had water and that we were comfortable.
I highly recommend Wadi Rum Stillness for anyone looking to visit Wadi Rum. I had a truly wonderful time in Wadi Rum because of their efforts.

We had an amazing time at the Wadi Rum Stillness camp . It provides an authentic experience with comfort, great food and most importantly amazing views. Habis was great with us , and customised our stay around busy itinerary, to maximise every moment we had in Wadi Rum. The camp is extremely well located , calm and with perfect views for a memorable sunrise. It is extremely clean and has everything you’ll need . The organised tours are perfect as you see the famous landmarks and the more untouched parts of the desert with a great guide who will also prepare a delicious lunch . Overall we highly recommend Wadi Rum stillness to any new or seasoned wadi rum goers for a truly remarkable experience. We definitely will be coming back !!

Wadi Rum Stillness holidays NEXT LEVEL!
48 hours in a desert with NO WiFi, NO phone coverage, NO city noise. It felt GOOOOD!
Petra was amazing but Wadi Rum experience touched me at a completely different level.
The heat of the Sun in August is demanding and unforgiving but it also forces you to break your standard routine and adjust to your surroundings.
Wake up with the first light, climb a nearby rock to appreciate the sunrise, when temperatures are just perfect, come down for breakfast, get busy before Sun reaches its pick and scorches the earth.
Then take a break, eat, relax, sleep under the shade of a rock till afternoon shadows and light breeze let’s your body to be active again.
Climb few rocks, discover hidden canyons and get ready for a sunset Bedouin tea before heading back to camp or before getting cozy in a safe place under the stars.
Enjoy the night and repeat!
And it is quiet there. And everything stops for a moment, any moment you want. It is as if you were the master of time.
Personal recommendation - There are different companies that provide similar opportunities but having done some web research and having read some blogs we went for Wadi Rum Stillness, 2-day experience.
We feel we could not get anything better. If you ever get a chance to visit Jordan, Wadi Rum is a “must”.
If you choose Wadi Rum Stillness, ask for Aaied as a guide - not only a great guide who speaks very good English, takes care of you, explains intricacies of the desert but also engage you as a person, a truly wonderful person who cares for his way of living and desert which is his home.

Our stay in Wadi rum Stillness was flawless. The communication with Habis was perfect since the beginning. Clear itinerary, fast responses and perfect instructions.
The camp is very well equipped - we visited in January when nights are cold and they provided us with super thick blankets and cold wasn't an issue at all. The bathrooms are brand new and everything was super clean. The food was delicious thanks to Zayd and even I as a vegetarian was always satisfied.
And when it comes to itinerary I can say only praise. Our guide Abdullah is super nice and incredibly funny person. On a first day we visited all the "touristy" places and on the second day he showed us the less popular but even more beautiful spots. I definitely recommend you to take at least two days and two nights tour as it allows you to fully immerse into the desert life (and ask for Abdullah to be your guide you won't regret! Apart from being the best guide he even cooks well! And trust me you want to try that.).
These guys are awesome and doing a great job at giving you the best possible experience at Wadi Rum.

We spent 2 days in the desert with 1 night sleeping out in the "cave" and 1 night at their camp. Our guide and driver Ayed was an incredible cook as well: he made us marvelous dishes during the 2 days we spent with him He showed us all the must seen places as well as the off the beaten tracks ones. The communication with Habis to coordinate the stay was also very simple and efficient. I definitely recommend them !!

We spent two days and two nights in the desert (under the stars and in a tent) and had a great experience with Wadi Rum Stillness. Habis’ communication is flawless and we got useful instructions as to what was awaiting us, what to bring, what to wear etc. Our guide Ayed was very authentic, he cooked delicious dishes (on the back of the jeep!) and brought us to amazing places. We particularly enjoyed having more time on our second day - there were less tourists than on the “usual” tracks and we were able to truly appreciate the calm and stillness of this magical place. Would definitely recommend it!

We had the most amazing time staying with Habis and his team. After searching 100s of reviews, we reached out to a few different campsites and tour operators. Habis stood out straight away, clear on what he offered, shared options for personalising and passionate about Wadi Rum. From the pick up to the drop off (2 days, 2 nights) we couldn't have asked for anything more from the experience. Exactly what we hoped for and more besides. Everyone we met during our time with Habis were welcoming, friendly, happy to be able to share their amazing culture and history, with lots of humour and curiosity about others. Felt like we spent a few days with friends, and the scenery made it feel like we had visited another world! We couldnt be more grateful for the experience and professionalism. If you are reading this review and still havent made your decision about which operator to go with - then stop your search, book with Habis and know that you won't regret it!

The tour with visiting the best places in Wadi Rum and the night in the cave under the stars was an amazing experience. Our guide was the best we could wish and he cooked for us delicious meals. We were lucky to be in group with two amazing girls and all together we had a lot of fun. We danced around the fire at night in the middle of nowhere and admired the starry night! Really special! The guide decided for an off-road tour because we had the opportunity to feel and see the reel desert life. There it was the end of August the common tour was full with other tourist but in our off road tour we met just a Bedouin with goats and two other cars with tourist all the day and our guide showed us really beautiful spots. He also played with us a desert game at chicken rock, really fun! I definitely recommend wadi rum stillness tours because they are professional without bad surprises

we had the pleasure to stay two days and two nights at this site and highly recommend the peaceful location and the very friendly staff, breathtaking landscape, convenient stay, well organized, delicious freshly prepared authentic food, great fun to have the opportunity to stay at the tent or near the site for sleeping under the stars, or in our case enlightened by a gorgeous full moon. The Jeep-tour and the hike was also great joy with our very friendly guide Saher who let us enjoy the relaxed spirit of the desert with his calm and trustworthy kindness. We wish to have stayed longer. Absolutely wonderful memories
