Enjoyed the guided kayaking tour of the fjord. Both single & double kayaks were available, though the singles were recommended only for those of us with prior experience. Our guide gave an interesting overview of the history of the area. On this day, the water was very calm. We stopped for a break by a waterfall. Such a pretty & serene area. Very nice!

Flat earth were well organised and professional. I felt safe and happy at all times. There was lots of opportunities to ask questions and the information given by Ray the guide was really clear. Ray was friendly and helpful, and told us some things about the fjord/area. I was a bit of a slow kayaker but that wasn't a problem. The scenery was beautiful and it was a very pleasant way to spend 3 hours. I wasn't sure about 3 hours being enough or too much, but for a novice kayaker that is the perfect amount of time, it's just when your arms start to get tired but plenty long enough to cover a decent distance. The group was small, I think 9 people and that was nice. There were other guides to take other customers out to keep the group sizes small. The kayaks have a net on the top to put a water bottle and you can leave things in the company's car too. It was great and would thoroughly recommend. I might suggest wearing something like cycling gloves if you have them as I bashed my hands on the kayak quite a bit.
