If you want to go there, do not ask any locals for directions. The best thing to do is to go to beach Porto Vathu instead- the beach there is bigger, cleaner and more spectacular than Saliara.

After a lot consideration, and hearing different comments about this place, we decide to go. Marble beach is kind a simbol of Thassos, with beautiful pictures you can fins on internet. Actually it's not really like that. Marble stones on the beach is really beatifull,...More

The rating is for staff attitude and rip off for sunbeds and bar pricing. Next time i will use my towel and i won't spend an eurocent here. Go insted to Pachis beach. Feel the difference in... everithing.

A must see in Thassos!! ...but hard to get there. The roads are dirt and not so well for 30 min. of drive or so. When we got there it was amazing, beautiful with the marble industry and the sight of the beach. But it...More

Beautiful Bay, lovely clean water.... but that counts for absolutely nothing since the whole place is spoilt by unpleasant overloud music and a complete commercial rip off of sunbed and bar pricing. Beach is completely full of beds so it looks like a tanning factory...More

The place is really nice with white marble sand and pristine waters. The owner of the beach bar has decided to ruin this for everyone with terrible loud house music that really makes you leave in half an hour. In fact, this is probably the...More

Let me start with the beautiful beach with white gravel and deep green waters! Of course, the money is sacrificed to everything! You pay 12 € on the lounger and you do not even have a waiter to order! You go alone to the supposed...More

The Marble Beach is not very big, but is unique It takes a lot to find it (at least 6 km of macadam road) but it worth it The snorkeling is mandatory

After an adventurous drive to get there. It was just stunning to see the white marble beach and the contrast of the crystal clear sea water. There was no one else in sight, except a stray cat.... I can imagine it being very crowded in...More

Went in October so it was rather quite. Luckily we went on a warm day. Water was a bit cold for the first 2 minutes but then it was perfect. There was no more than 30 people there so it felt as if we had...More

The beach with the abandoned building is called Vathi Beach. Saliara Beach is the same thing as Marble Beach
