On first arival, we immediately felt very comfortable because of the friendly way the crew welcomed us. Although we were the only foreigners (the rest of our group were all italian), the crew did everything they could to help and explain us what we wanted/needed to know.
The atmosphere on the boat was laidback and fun. Drinks were unlimitedly available.
Nice stops where we got enough time to get off the boat and discover the Ionic sea and a cool, rather remote, white-sanded beach.
Before we headed back to the port of Le Castella, we were treated with an extended an varied lunch with a lot of typical regional flavours. They even served dessert afterwards (fresh fruit ad cake). Absolutely a boattrip to remember and something we recommend everyone to do!

A beautiful experience aboard a wonderfully kept vessel. Absolutely spotless. The crew were amazingly friendly professional and helpful from the moment we boarded. Great music,a relaxing atmosphere, fantastic and plentiful food, unlimited drinks and even travel gum for those who may suffer sea sickness. Plenty of room aboard and an amazing sea with fantastic swims makes this boat trip well worth the price of €35 adults and €20 children up to 12. A sin if missed out on. We had a great time.

The program was very well designed to include several activities, each of them was just the right amount at the right time (cruise around the castle, stop for snorkeling, relaxing at the beach, having a nice lunch). The boat is equipped with shower, toilet, unlimited cold drinks (water or soft drinks), free mask and snorkel, even WiFi. There was plenty of space, both on sun and in shade (there were about 30 of us, in the middle of the day, I guess other times it might be more busy). The lunch was delicious, nice variety of food, including several local specialties.

Travelling with two young children (3 and 6), and keen to further explore the coast adjoining the marine reserve of Capo Rizzuto following a trip the previous day to Capo Colonna and Crotone, we booked the "Crociera classica" during the last week of August.
This comprised a morning tour around the coast commencing from Le Castella, circling the impressive Aragonese castle before heading out along the coast, with a couple of stops for a swim. The seas in this area are beautiful, and the second stop in particular at the beach of Sovereto (given its protected status, only reachable by boat) was particularly impressive. Crystal blue seas, fine golden sand and a deserted beach. Notwithstanding the fact that the stops were reasonably close to shore, there was still plenty to see and fun to be had with a snorkel and mask (for my six year old in particular) - these are provided on the boat if you don't have your own.
After the swim stops food was served prior to setting sail for port, which was varied, abundant, and full of local Calabrian produce.
In summary, the boat was well-equipped and not overcrowded, the crew friendly and helpful, there was plenty of food and drink, and the sea was tremendous. My family and I had a wonderful time - highly recommended.
