It worthed every minute of driving there! You walk inside the history and you step on 3,5 million years fossil remains! Nothing can compare this!

You can drive all the way on a rough track or leave car at the church before it and walk for 10 mins. Fantastic geology really worth a visit.

We took a tour of this forest and found that it was so interesting. The guide was not that knowledgeable but he was very friendly. This was really worth going to. If you are in the area you should go.

Great hiking trip in the vicinity of Agios Nikolaos. Located by the Cape Malea sea it combines a great escape and nature scene. Petrified forest located by the sea with petrified palm trees and seashell fosills dating back 2.5 million years!
