Missing signposts
May 2021
We have been there numerous times and we usually follow the red route (the longest route). Today we wanted a shorter walk so we tried to follow the blue route. The signs are confusing or just missing and we ended up on the red route which was very inconvenient.

The bluebells were lovely !

Can be nice
Mar 2021
Can be a bit muddy, but it's a nice quiet place mainly, although it can get busier, but people are generally pleasant. More dog poo than normal has been noticed by us through lockdown, which with a small child, has been annoying trying to ddge it.

Beautiful woods for a walk
Sep 2020
I wish we lived a bit nearer to these woods! We had a really beautiful dog walk, all around the woods. A lovely place to go walking. It was very quiet and secluded

Excellent but very muddy in October
Oct 2019
I’ve lived a few miles away for 10 years and never known it existed!

I found about it on the Kent Messenger website and my wife and I walked our dogs around there last week, the woods section was beautiful but due to a lot of recent rain, the trail was exceptionally muddy.

Throughly looking forward to returning in the spring to see the bluebells though.

Nice walk
Jul 2019 • Family
This walk was pleasant. The signs were not entirely accurate. We did the walk which was supposedly an hour and a half but we were finished in under an hour. This of course depends on who is walking the route but with two adults and one teen it was shorter than expected. Good walk though, very peaceful

Great walks
Jan 2019 • Family
Great walks with the dogs or if you fancy a stroll. Highly recommend wearing boots as can get very muddy. Ensure you take a peek to wipe your dog's paws!

Mud, mud, glorious mud!
Dec 2018 • Couples
Visited for the first time. Nice woodland and certainly one to re-visit in the springtime. But be warned at this time of year not very enjoyable extremely muddy, very difficult to stay upright in a number of places.

Fantastic walk around the reserve. Lots of blue bells. Clear routes to follow. Parking available. Benches to sit if needed.
