Gounaropoulos Museum is located in Athens, Greece. Founded in 1979, it belongs to the municipality of Zografou and aims to present and promote the work of the painter Giorgos Gounaropoulos. The museum is housed in the artist's home and atelier, and contains 40 oil paintings and drawings, the artist's personal belongings and archive. Guided tours and educational programs are offered, and a variety of art exhibitions, lectures and other cultural events are hosted.

Το μουσείο αυτό αφιερωμένο στο έργο του σπουδαίου ζωγράφου Γ. Γουναρόπουλου (Gounaro) στεγάζεται στην ομώνυμη οδό του Ζωγράφου και δίνεται στον επισκέπτη η δυνατότητα να θαυμάσει πολλά έργα του καλλιτέχνη. Είναι ένας όμορφος χώρος πολιτισμού που αναμφίβολα αξίζει να επισκεφτείτε!

Έργα επηρεασμένα απο τον σουρεαλισμό που αναδύουν εσωτερικό φωτισμό

Χρόνος παραμονής 20 λεπτά. Είσοδος ελεύθερη. Δύσκολο σημείο για εύρεση στάθμευσης, καλό θα ήταν να αφήσετε το αυτοκίνητό σας στο χώρο της πανεπιστημιούπολης. Το Μουσείο αποτελείται από 1 αίθουσα στο ισόγειο της οικίας που στεγαζόταν το εργαστήριο του ζωγράφου. Εκθέτει έργα και αντικείμενα της ζωής του καλλιτέχνη (πίνακες, εργαλεία ζωγραφικής κ.α.). Ο όροφος πάνω από το εργαστήριο είναι μη επισκέψιμος. Επίσης διαθέτει μικρό κατάστημα αναμνηστικών. Η υπεύθυνη του χώρου ήταν επεξηγηματική και ευγενέστατη.

Ανάσα Πολιτισμού στο Δήμο μας!

Το σπίτι -ατελιέ ενός πολύ σπουδαίου ζωγράφου βρίσκεται στον -τόσο πυκνοκατοικημένο- Δήμο μας θυμίζοντας άλλες εποχές.
Σπουδαία έργα του Γ. Γουναρόπουλου εκτίθενται (ειλικρινά το στυλ του δεν το μπερδεύεις με κανενός άλλου) , ενώ φιλοξενούνται και περιοδικές εκθέσεις .
Συγκεκριμένα, όταν το επισκέφθηκα εγώ απόλαυσα αρκετά έργα Ιαπωνικής Τέχνης.
Τέλος, θα ήθελα να πω ενα τεράστιο ευχαριστώ στην υπέροχη κυρία που εργάζεται ως υπεύθυνη του Μουσείου. Μοιράστηκε μαζί μας τόσο όμορφες πληροφορίες και είχαμε μια υπέροχη συζήτηση!
