A nice place, the food is delicious, the wine tours are ok, the owner explains the wine process from the berry to the wine, nice conversations, delicious shashlik and traditional dishes, but....for 6 rooms, only one small, narrow bathroom. View of the vineyards. The reservation stuck because out of 4 reserved rooms we got only 3 and we had to squeeze into 3 rooms for 7 people. The hygiene of the bathroom is stuck, we pressed the cockroach. The reservation was made a month in advance

We booked for a winery tour and lunch stopover. The food was good, nothing to complain about. The 'wine tasting' was not quite as they gave us 3 different bottles to try, plus the chi cha and that was it. The real let down was the subsequent 'tour' as the guide led us to the vineyard nearby and then supposedly to the winery. What we saw there was rather a small 'wine museum' next to the dinning room where no real wine was made or fermented. No live barrels or cellars were present. Several small and empty fermentation 'pots' were burry in the ground. for a show The guide said the real one in the 'winery on the other location' could be so big as a man could dive in for a cleaning session.
The owner explained to us later that it was not the wine-making season, hence no wine there. But as we managed to run into another entity later on and saw and experienced what we expected: fermentation in-progress, cellar with lots of finished products, and a real tasting.

We visited Baias vineyard and were very warmly welcomed by the whole family. It was very interesting to see how people with the huge efforts and lots of heart built world wide acknowledged business. There are still lots of handwork in the process of vine production from harvesting the grapes to the labels sticking on the bottles. During the tour we saw impressive gigantic pitchers were the vine is kept. The food we eat was very delicious together with three different types of biological vine and chacha at the end. We highly enjoyed whole the tour and the vine. Thank you very much and all the best!

We visited Baia’s winery through Budget Georgia (started in Kutaisi)- they provided a nice bus to and from the winery and the cost included a tour of the winery and a big Georgian feast and lots of wine. We absolutely adored our experience here. We had one of the sisters show us around and she was so funny, energetic and knowledgeable (i’m sorry - I forgot her name). We couldn’t believe the amount of food and wine we got for such a cheap price. The wine was particularly delicious.

The place is great for all who want to taste rural life - for Families and couples, for kids, for friends, for Christians or Muslims as even if you dont drink their awesome Georgian wine, you will be able to enjoy pleasant Imeretian village and meet warm-hearted hosts with whom you can cheer for life. Recommended to order dinner including tour of the farm and winery.Meeting with Baia is unforgettable experience.

I am really sorry to give bad review like this becuse i like both sisters but you ruined half of my vacation. We booked this place for wine tasting, dinner, sleepover and breakfast. All of it was so disappointing and really dangerous. They are all nice and welcoming when we come but that was all. Wine tasting wasn't wine tasting. They show us vinery and speak about it less than15 min. For wine tasting they bring 3 different wines, put on the table and that was all. They gone after one minute. I understand that they how things to do, but we was guest who pay for everything. We felt so disappointed becuse this was far from wine tasting and good service.Only good things it was amazing view from balcony where we sit. They serve as dinner there. It was good food but it was reheated, not freshly cooked. After serving dinner nobody came at our table after 4 hours, we left there with all plates and without any light, we was in complete dark. It was so crazy that we was shocked. Then we just left everything and go to the bad. Room and toilet was so dirty , sheets wasn't clean and they smell badly. I wasn't sleep all night. Breakfast was even worse becuse in all food was so much salt, i didn't eat it.
We go back to the Tbilisi and after couple hours we was so sick. We spent two days in the room. Probably from water that they bring to dinner (it wasn't bottled) or food, not sure. I never felt so bad food poisoning in my life. The rest of our vacation we didn't recover totally. Hygiene is the most important thing but this people don't care so much about it.

The food and wine were very good and the staff super friendly. However, I drank too much Chacha, fell into a bush and slept for 12 hours. 10/10 would go again!

As we were travelling on our own and without sat nav, it was quite an adventure to find the winery. we were aided by some helpful local neighbours. We met Baia's sister who did a wonderful job of explaining the queva process. We also met her brother who was also helpful. A most delicious meal was produced - all fresh produce mot of it from the farm. We also sampled several different wines and were shown around the vineyard. We learnt a lot about the history of the family and Baia's amazing journey to make it a commercial venture.

Small charming farm with excellent wine and food.
Give us a nice tour around the farm with explicit info about their unique way of production.

I just stayed at Baias wine for two nights. Baia and her family are the most welcoming, hospitable family you could imagine. The Georgian food mum prepared was delicious and varied: I had chicken, trout, Khatchapuri, tomato and cucumber salad, grilled eggplant with walnuts, etc. Always too much of course! Needless to say you get to taste their wine as well, for me one of the whites and a surprisingly red rose, of which they made their first small batch this year. Both were delicious and refreshing in the hot climate of the vineyard.
I spent the day chilling in the hammock, drinking wine, visiting the vineyard with Baia and learning how they make wine.
Staying here over night is perfect if you want to experience rural Georgia off the beaten path. All of the area is still in development, for example, the tarmac road has just been built recently.
The vineyard is also a farm with chicken, pig, fruit trees and vegetable garden, a perfect "agritourism" visit.
