Friendly and helpful from the start, 1 km Petite Train ride up to the marvelous Caverns and the history of the place is brought alive by sympathetic lighting and the knowledgeable guide, who was considerate, knowledgeable and informative

Have nice holiday!
Fantastic example of vast cave stalactites and stalagmites. The "cathedral" is vast. Tour guide Salvador was friendly, informative and very entertaining. He spoke English French and Spanish. The tour is approx 2 hours so not sure this is ideal for small children or the infirm....More

See you an other time for the geant tour (4/5 hours) !
What a delight to visit these unspoilt caves. A road train takes you to the cave entrance where you progress on foot for an hour or more with a very informative guide. You need to be reasonably fit but for Mr & Mrs Average it...More

We visited Grotte de Lombrives as a family of five (kids: 11, 9 and 7) in late July 2017, and took the shorter tour (around 2 hrs). We had previously visited the nearby Niaux caves with their stunning prehistoric cave paintings, and found this experience...More

Thanks you so much for your visit ! See you soon :)
The caves are stunning. I wish we had a way to do a grand 5-7 hour tour. But we loved what we saw. BUT, the lack of clear organization may be off-putting to some tourists. The signage is almost incomprehensible to begin with and the...More
with our 7 year old we have visited the caves of Lombrives. We took the little red train to the caves. This was already big score for our little girl. But than the caves... spectacular. We all loved it and also our daughter. She constantly...More

Just the views on the walk up to the cave entrance (not essential, you can take the train) are worth the entrance money - mountains, villages, rivers - just great. The basic 2 hour visit requires a bit of stamina, although there were some small...More
