Another great afternoon at Escape Room Kenya! We got a sneak-peek at the new POACHERS LAIR room and were blown away! More innovative challenges and lots of lateral thinking required. We didn't quite crack it, which just makes us want to go back for more! Highly recommended! Ps. all covid restrictions measures are in place and effective without detracting from the fun.

Definetly coming back💪💪....we had a fantastic time with my crew😊. The view around is absolutely amaizing not forgetting our hosts brenda and beatrice with their warm welcoming. I would recommend newbies to visit the place.

I had a really fun time trying to escape! The puzzles were challenging yet engaging, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic! I appreciate the attention to detail in the room design.

This was an unexpected experience to have on a trip to Kenya. I love escape rooms as glad I was able to find some colleagues to go through this one with me. We did the easy room but it was very challenging yet still fun. Each clue we discovered deserved its own victory dance. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed it. Well designed rooms and organized overall.

We had an amazing time!! Totally doing this again.The mental stimulation is on another level.You guys should consider having a package where one can do all rooms at a discounted price.

Game - The Escape Room games are very interesting, we did have a fun time and highly recommend them for staff retreats, parties etc. However, before we played the games, we experienced some challenges that we think Escape Room needs to work on to better their services.
Poor Communication - Booking the room was overall difficult. And it shouldn't be. Response to emails was very slow, we had to call several times to find out if the email had been received and if someone was working on our quotation. The fact that staff work on part-time basis makes communication even more difficult because staff can only respond to their clients when they are in the office unless the client is not willing to wait. We, later on, received a wrong confirmation and when we requested for the right one, we were told that the people who could access the email were away until later in the day.
Lack of professionalism - Upon confirmation, we were not informed that we needed to be there 15 minutes before the start of the game even after calling the staff while we were on our way. The in-person reception from the staff was also not good - staff were rude to us. Even though we were only 10 minutes late, they told us that we only had 30 minutes for the game because there was another group coming in after us and they needed 30 minutes to set up the room. We were surprised to learn that there was actually no group waiting - they, therefore, effectively lied to us and put pressure on us for no reason. This left us wondering why the staff were so angry and rude to us when we arrived.
Overall, while this is a great activity, there is a serious need for improvement in customer relations and communication.

We played the submarine as a group of 5. The room is well set out to engage the whole team. Who knew one hour could be that short? The Submarine rescue team (Pam and Rob) were amazing!! We had so much fun and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a different kind of adventure.

My friends and I had the chance of doing two rooms during our visit: The Inventor's Workshop and the Poacher's Lair (their newest room)
We had a blast attacking the rooms and appreciated the challenge. There are so many little things that may be overlooked so do not underestimate any of the rooms.
Greatly impressed by the challenges and kudos to the team for setting them up!
The staff are welcoming, polite, and willing to help where they can. We are grateful to have the gamemaster assist us as we attempted to tackle both rooms.
COVID-19 safety precautions were implemented: they had a washing station outside and had sanitizers at the front desk and ensured each person had washed their hands

Our game master- Brenda, was a huge Debbie downer. Rude, showed no emotion, passive.. acted as if she did not care about our presence.

Are you actually locked inside? Or can you easily and quickly get out in the event of an emergency?

No you are not physically locked in the room. People can exit at any point to use the restroom or for other reasons. To play any of our room, teams would escape through a door that is different from the one they used to enter the room. Our rooms are not claustrophobic and the objective is to challenge your mind with puzzles (not to make people uncomfortable in any way). We welcome any other questions and hope to see you sometime soon. Pam
