The adventure my son and I took to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Oct, 2020 with Kandoo Adventures exceeded all our expectations! From the food, the equipment and especially the welcoming of the entire team. Choosing Kandoo was the best decision we made. Without their expertise and help, I'm not sure if would would have reached the summit. They help make great memories.

Our Kilimanjaro trek and safari with Kandoo were absolutely perfect! I don’t think we could have fantasized about a more perfect trip. Every detail, no matter how major or minor, was not only thought about, but executed flawlessly. All of the guides, porters, drivers and company representatives were flawless. They truly cared that we had a wonderful trip, and that really showed! Also, the food and the accommodations were alltop notch — we especially enjoyed the tented camps in Serengeti! We will definitely use Kandoo again on our next big adventure!

Our trip up Kilimanjaro exceeded our expectations. The guides and porters worked exceptionally hard to make sure our trip was as enjoyable as it could be and nothing was too much trouble. The people of Tanzania were very welcoming and friendly wherever we went. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and safety conscious, I cannot speak for other organised trips but we were pleased to pay a little more for this trip than some of the others and it certainly seemed to be worth the little extra. Avoid cheaper operators that don't care for the welfare of their porters. We were lucky to share the experience with a lovely group from around the world. The Food quality and amount was excellent considering everything was carried up the mountain. The toilet facilities were clean and very welcome on arrival to camp. Kandoo seemed well organised before and during the trip and I would highly recommend them. Tanzania is a very poor country, Please take as much extra clothing if you have room in your bags for the porters, anything you have will be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely amazing! Was one of the best things I've ever ever done, make no mistake it was very very hard, especially summit night, however the guides are simply amazing, they are very motivating and look after you the whole trip with your blood oxygen level checked twice a day and throughout the climb they are checkng you to make sure everythng is ok. The food is on another level, hot tasty and more than enough, I'm still in awe of the congratulations cake that was presented after we all summited, how do you bake a cake halfway up a mountain! Worthy of a special mention is Vicky at Kandoo, She was fantastic from begining to end, emails where answered quickly, information sent out about the trip was very detailed, nothing was an issue, she is a great asset to kandoo, thanks vicky! So to summarize, dont just think about it, do it, yes its not cheap, and you may find cheaper companies, however you do get what you pay for, I'm still buzzing 3 weeks on!

Kandoo were very professional. They started by placing us all in a very nice Hotel which I went back to later in the holiday. Their choice was also my choice. The guides were I believe top rated with vast experience of the mountain which gave everyone a lot of comfort and confidence. They travelled with oxygen in case of emergencies which I'm not sure all companies do. All equipment was of high quality from the tents to the mattresses and sleeping bags. Cooks were good and the food was far better than I had anticipated, and there was plenty of it A very good experience and I have no hesitation at all in thoroughly recommending it to anyone considering the climb
