Firstly having read a lot of the previous reviews we didn’t want to go as the water park at it sounds unfinished. However our hotel assured us that guests had been and it was up and running. We need not have worried as the day was great fun and the water park and cable car ride are both really worth doing. We got a joint cable car ticket and water park entry at our hotel which was 400k for adults and 300k for children over 1m tall. The cable cars are very frequent and hold 30 people each. There are vents in the windows which keep the cabin fresh as you move. The views are really superb and you can see all the huge development going on across the islands . The area will be completely transformed in a few years. I do think the Italian style properties is a strange choice for the big town they are building beside the cable car but it does look well. The staff at the cable car and water park were super friendly. The lockers only cost 30k or about €1.20 for a small one which fits a lot of stuff. The wristband they give you works as the key which is very helpful. Lots of showers and lockers and toilets available. Very clean everywhere. The park rides are really great fun and there is lots for young kids (our daughter is under 5) and more areas are due to open in the near future, you can see that they are almost ready to go. Plenty of places to eat, we had a decent pizza. All in all a great day out and there were lots of taxis outside when we arrived back. If you are staying in phu quoc I would highly recommend spending a day here.

Hon Thom feels like secret locals park because we wouldn't have discovered it without our local contacts setting this excursion for our family.
Firstly the nostalgia of driving up to the tram lift as you pass by European style apartments under construction makes you feel like you're somewhere else.
The tram ride is both smooth, fast and efficient which passes by 3 islands and stunning views of phi quod and the the bay of Thailand, just breathtaking.
Once you arrive you immediately feel giddy because of the amount of areas to explore but we focused on getting to the main beach which is a 5 minute golf buggy ride ( free of charge) down the hill.
There you find 2 Buffett / restaurant areas to eat, shower facilities and steps to lead you to the shore where it's shallow enough to walk the 10 yards to a huge inflated jungle gym floaty for kids and adults to slide or play on.
There's plenty of hammocks to relax on and life vests for kids who are not good swimmers yet.
I suggest to go early to enjoy the park and beach because the trams close around 6 pm due to darkness and its super busy to get back to the main tram lift at the end of the day.

The adventure waterslide is on the main entrance area and it looks like it's probably still being worked on as i dont see kids on the slides which does make me nervous from a safety's standpoint.

Overall a very enjoyable family experience

Wonderful experience and good value.
Not too many people which made it a good experience.
Walking around Sunset Town and taking in the impressive building project before going on the cable car was amazing.
Water Park and cable car was organised. Good safety precautions in place. Not too much queuing .

Overall good value. Work is still going on to improve the facilities but did not detract from the experience.
Buffet average.
Some of the water park rides have limited time openings so advisable to check the board if you have a preferred slide. Some finish at 13:30 and some start at 13:30.
The locker room queueing can get tediously annoying, especially with some people taking their time getting organised.
Lockers are 30k with 20k returnable deposit, towels 50k plus deposit. Changing rooms available.
Also the cable car only operates at certain time frames and stops for a while during lunch. Last cable car return is 17:00 except weekends - for dinner options.
Didn't like having to hand over your paper ticket for scanning for some of the rides each time ( excluding water park)
Once you are in, surely there is no need to hand over your ticket, except for buffet.

Communication is a bit confusing but we had a great day once we got there. We rode our scooter and there is free scooter parking at the entrance - underground. We went to the cable car entrance, bought our tickets for 650,000 dong each which includes the cable car ride and all day at the water park, theme park. Cable car ride was fantastic! All of the waterslides were open and it was great fun for 2 adults who love theme parks. There are two rides included - a wooden roller coaster which was awesome and an enclosed sight seeing tower where you go to the top and back to see the views. Lockers, towel rental & showers are easily accessible at the entrance to Aquatopia. No line ups anywhere but enough people that it didn’t feel deserted. It seemed like there were enough restaurants open to have lunch. Park is clean and nicely done. There is construction in the area but it didn’t affect our experience in any way. Just do it, it’s great value with lots of fun to be had!!!!

The area around the ropeway station is like a theme park, and the scale of it is overwhelming. There are many photo spots, so it's perfect for having fun before or after the water park. There are still many vacant tenants, but it looks like there will be more in the future.

The water park's opening hours are a little short, but there is a lazy river with a lot of water and various slides, so my daughter, who is 120 cm tall, had so much fun that she was exhausted. The 4,300 yen for adults including the ropeway and meal seemed quite cheap.

We were able to get to the ropeway station by Grab on the way there, but be careful that you can't take Grab on the way back unless you take the shared tram or walk.

This was really a great full day trip with friends.
We had a such a fun filled day with all of the water activities.
The cable car ride was also amazing.
What got us was that they have this rule that no swimsuit can have any piece metal or plastic/ zipper on it.
NOTHING, they will not let you ride some of the rides with it on. You even have to take of ALL of your jewelry/watches.
The lockers worked great.
You can even leave your shoes and towels at the rides before using them.
There are still a lot of construction and some of the rides and shops are closed.

Don’t come here unless If you are a western or over 10% body fat. Or over 6feet tall. Locals will stare, laugh and point and even some of the workers. Cable car is cool. But we were so surprised by the racism and rudeness of so many. We are pleasant people and this is the first bad reviews I’ve ever wrote. Steer clear.

Not recommended. They have clubbed it with the cable car and that is the only reason we went there. The staff at the water park were the worst I have seen across the world
Very little manners or professionalism. One young lifeguard guy even cussed at some foreigner who asked a question politely
Some were very rude to the kids. Very few good staff. If planning, just do the cable ride and go back.

Worth visiting for a day, we thoroughly enjoyed riding most of the rides with a 9 year old although jewellery is a no go zone and got stuck with wearing earrings on a few of the rides. Wearing good foot wear is a must as the ground is super hot in between rides. Food options are limited but enough to meet the needs for a day. Bonus to to able to hire towels and a locker.

Great ride in cable car. Just be aware it stops for 2 hrs for lunch. Therefore you are marooned in a concrete jungle. Many of the eating places are closed. Those that are open have a very limited menu. No electric carts on the day that we were there. Might be ok for families who want to enjoy a water park. Nothing much for older couples. Whole area is manufactured, nothing authentic.
