Amazing Alpacas!
Jul 2017 • Friends
This is such a worthwhile visit. Stunning surroundings, absolutely adorable chocolate brown alpacas including the sweetest babies you will ever see. They are truly amazing. It was such a wonderful experience to see them close up. I learnt so much from the owners who are clearly devoted to each and every one of their animals - they even have their own individual names.
There is a delightful little gift shop with all things alpaca. If you have the time, make sure you visit this truly amazing place. It will leave a lasting impression and probably turn out to be the highlight of your holiday.

It was the time of the Ferme en Ferme open w/end in April that we discovered this wonderful place. We had just visited another farm in the area when we saw signs to the Alpaca farm, just a couple of miles up the road.

Arrived to a welcome from Willem who I immediately knew was Dutch. His wife Dita followed and was equally welcoming. They had lived in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, breeding these lovely creatures. They settled here in Lot et Garonne just a year ago.

We had a personalised tour of the alpacas (over 50), mainly black, which had just been shorn. It was a windy day but we saw each area of youngsters, females and males. Beautiful, open location housed these well-cared for animals which are bred here and sold all over the world.

We took many photos before being shown around the shop which not only had clothes like jumpers, scarves, socks, but also wooden gifts made by Gita's father back in Holland.

It was a very good find and I'm so pleased to be able to review Moudoulens for TripAdviser.

Great visit for singles, couples and families!
