Good for a quick visit

Don't plan hours here, good for a stop on the way home for a pretty view. Very small board walk, but cannot walk around the edge.

Perhaps it's the time of year that made our trip to the lake on the mountain not at all exciting. Sure, the view is nice, but not a lot of greenery or colour. Perhaps another trip in late Spring would be better.

There is no trail. walk to one side of the road then to the other. Pictures are beautiful! Went to the Brewery on the way to the ferry. Great owners, great conversation and good beer. Small micro brewery with seating for 20 ppl. You can see the brew tanks through a glass window. Very clean!

While the idea of the Lake is interesting - there was not much to really do here. It will take you max 10 minutes to walk the little trail and back. The nearby restaurants were also unfortunately closed (although that is probably because it was Easter).

Worth a stop and a look. This lake was formed by unique geology. Easy access and parking off of a main road. Only a few feet from the road.

We have been to this sight a number of times. This last one in the winter. Bring snow boots! The view is amazing anytime of the year. This last visit the lake was almost frozen and we watched two otters playing on the ice. The wind was blowing cold over the lake so we didn't stay long but other times... More

We stopped by on our way from Picton to Kingston and since I had raved about this place to my partner, having stopped there in the past on a motorcycle trip and to eat at the nearby restaurant. Unfortunately, the day was blustery and cool so that cut the visit short. We were hoping that the restaurant was open next... More

Interesting view and very scenic. Enjoyed a long peaceful walk followed by a glass of wine. A perfect afternoon.

We have been to Miller House many times especially early evening, enjoying a drink watching the sunset. The service and food are excellent; however, what spoils it are the bees. The patio is surrounded by gardens that seem to attract bees making dining almost impossible. This is disappointing since we love going there. Until the owners address this issue (i.e.... More

The local pan-fried pickerel is a must for fish lovers. With a pint, you feel like you are on the coast.
