Perhaps it's the time of year that made our trip to the lake on the mountain not at all exciting. Sure, the view is nice, but not a lot of greenery or colour. Perhaps another trip in late Spring would be better.

While the idea of the Lake is interesting - there was not much to really do here. It will take you max 10 minutes to walk the little trail and back. The nearby restaurants were also unfortunately closed (although that is probably because it was...More

Don't plan hours here, good for a stop on the way home for a pretty view. Very small board walk, but cannot walk around the edge.

Worth a stop and a look. This lake was formed by unique geology. Easy access and parking off of a main road. Only a few feet from the road.

The local pan-fried pickerel is a must for fish lovers. With a pint, you feel like you are on the coast.

I did not see a boat launch but then again I didn't go around the whole lake. It's easily walkable from the parking lot.
