About
Garibaldi Castle. Boasting soaring spires, ornate turrets and regal rooftops, this luxurious castle built at the beginning of the 21st century, invokes both the magic and mystery of Medieval fortresses through the 13th century Europe and beyond... Built in the Gothic Revival style, it is not an exact copy of any particular European castle. Rather, it is an architectural fantasy on the theme of European Romanticism and Gothic, which incorporates all the most beautiful and interesting elements of European architecture of the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Victorian era. Garibaldi Castle is a masterpiece of true family honor. The castle was built by its owner Oleg Kuzichkin in honor of his father - Garibaldi Arcadievich Kuzichkin.

Do you want to get into a real knight's castle without leaving Russia? There is such an opportunity!
Garibaldi Castle is located 65 km from Tolyatti in the village of Khryashchevka. It was built in the style of medieval romanticism, with a large number of towers with gabled roofs.
To some it reminds me of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There are a lot of decorative elements here - dragons, gargoyles, iron bars and other attributes of this time. It can be seen that the building was built with love and respect for historical details. Even the stone walls don't look new.

I have always liked gargoyles, which I always looked out for with pleasure at the level of the roofs of European cathedrals.
A gargoyle in Gothic architecture is a stone figure of a grotesque mythical character inside which there is a gutter designed to drain water from the walls.
Here I also met several such sculptures.

The castle grounds are the perfect place for photographs and wedding photo shoots.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to get into the castle itself, as well as into its courtyard.
Very beautiful flower gardens are laid out in front of the castle, there is also a large fountain that works on weekends.

From entertainment - you can ride a carriage, or mint a commemorative coin with a picture of a castle.
There is also a souvenir shop with T-shirts, magnets, mugs.
You can go down to the banks of the Volga and enjoy the picturesque river views.
In general, a good weekend route for residents of Samara and Togliatti.
