This little sky town is just magical. This time of the year is very quiet since the sky season hasn’t started yet. But does not matter if you visit it during the summer or winter time, you will enjoy it. People are very friendly, there are a variety of activities to choose, and the gastronomy is excellent.

Pretty walk up to the extensive fortress. Lots of historical info documented there and gorgeous views.

We are here for the festivities and the New year's with friends and kids.
The town is very nice, small and cosy.
Unfortunately thought, during this time, it seems to be the 18th years old heaven!
Young boys and girls everywhere, screaming, having joints, getting high, screaming outside your window...
Even the Council of Sestola allowed a DJ set till 4am with music so loud, it seemed to come from next door!
Obviously the policy is to support and increment young people's tourism and not a more quiet family orientated one.
Thanks a shame.
Tip of the place: of you want to sleep at night, try a different time of the year, not the Christmas holidays!

A nice little town where vehicles are severely restricted so you are obliged to have a walk or take the sight seeing bus. From the edge of the town there is a nice walk through the main square full of shops with hand-made products to the castle on the top of the mountain 1,500 metres high above sea level. You can visit the castle for as little as 4 euros (2 euros for children). There are many exhibitions inside and the panoramic view from the top is amazing. On the way back you must taste borlengo in one of the bars, which is a local specialty (similar to piadina but much better, with grated grana cheese and grease).

We stay here often as a starting point for day hikes. The town is small, but there is some lovely history and architecture, lots of festivals, and the people are very nice. While the town itself is small enough for just a day trip, it's a good starting point for some great hiking in the Appenines!

A place where you can truly experience Italian culture. Tourists are mostly Italians, so the experience is very special
