Beautiful spot on top of the village. The Interior is beautifully painted, and was apparently restored with the aid of Christian Dior, who lived locally and is buried in the cemeterie in Callian.

Sweet little church with a very charismatic priest. At Christmas time there is a large lit up creche with a Don Camillo amongst the local crowd.

Perched on the top of the hill in Montauroux, the Eglise St Barthelemy is a peaceful chapel of modest size, but packed with stunning paintings in each arch on either side of the aisle, and behind the alter. This is a pretty average everyday village church -- it's open on market day (Saturday). It seems to ber active in charity work.

I was very impressed with the place because I love arhitecture and this church is an amaizing place to visist do your visit. I was also captivated with the altar and try to imagine how in the past could be bild this type of arhitecture... love it
