Came here quite late at around 5pm but the site was still pretty much crowded. It is open until 8pm and 3 hours is more than enough to walk around. Recommended to buy the ticket via online first to avoid the queue also it's a bit cheaper.
The museum itself hosts a wide variety of transportation artifacts from carts, cars, motorcycles, planes, and many more that are divided into several areas like Chinatown, F1 area, Gangster Town (New York? Chicago?), Hollywood, Italy, France, Germany, etc. Anyway we are glad that we came at around evening so it's getting dark and the lights were on everywhere and the sites are prettier that way.
All of the areas are unique in their own way with decorations and photo spots corresponding to the era they trying to portray. They have several food courts in some areas.
Really recommended to visit here because not only it's full of interesting information, it is also full of insta-worthy photo spots.

Some indoors and some outdoors. At first, we thought the museum was fully indoors and it looked very meh. Upon exploring, we realised the museum was quite interesting and affordable for the price. Can’t really remember how much we paid but it was the tourist price. Can visit if you have nothing else to do in Surabaya.

Museum angkut is an amazing place to visit in batu city. Batu city has a mild cool weather and sometimes is unpredictable with rain and fog.
Museum angkut is the first museum transportation in south east asian.
It covers for all transportation, movies, and several cities theme.
For sure, museum angkut is instagrammable place, many photo spots with full of classic cars collection and the staffs are friendly.
Over all, the place is awesome! Enjoy!

Like any other places we've been in Batu, the weather is pretty much our bargain. So we arrived on heavy downpour rain, while they have no rooftop lobby to drop visitors first. Instead they put people with umbrella to proactively help us going inside. The collection is massive and they give complete detail on each one. The photo spots are up to date we love them. The live performance are great we get to see the machines in action. Totally worth it.

Nice to see the educational side of the museum, although looking at the cars / other transportation vehicles are quite interesting too. Many spots for photos, the place is quite well kept. Lots of staff to help around with taking pictures. Better go on weekdays and early (they open at 12). Overall great experience. Though for elderly and kids or people who cant walk far, could be a problem.

The Angkut Museum in Malang is an interesting experience for visitors of all ages. The museum offers an impressive collection of transportation, ranging from ancient to modern vehicles, displayed in extraordinary detail. There are replicas of highways with different atmospheres from various countries which makes it very interesting. Visitors can enjoy interactive tours with transportation from the past, such as horse-drawn carriages or classic cars, to thrilling simulation experiences. Apart from that, this museum also has an interesting photo area with various themed backgrounds, which is a special attraction for tourists. The facilities are clean, informative, and the staff is very helpful. Although visiting times can be a bit busy, the experience offered by Museum Angkut is truly extraordinary and well worth a visit for anyone interested in the history of transport

people say that this is the biggest car museum in Indonesia. many cars to be seen , specially american ones of the 50' and 60'.
there are some motorbikes, mainly of the beginnings. And some departments dedicated to the cars of other countries.
Anyway it is a good way to spend half day.

The only one in Indonesia as a museum that displays and also exhibits a collection of antique cars from ancient times. The museum area is quite large and consists of several spots that can be used as backgrounds for taking photos, both views of the museum collection itself and views of Batu City from here. If you visit Malang City or Batu, there's no harm in making this destination your choice of holiday visit.

A really great place to visit.
The word museum can sound boring, but this place is fun for the whole family. It’s based around cars, but it’s really all to do with movies. There’s shows, lots of interactive things, tonnes of very well priced food options, and friendly staff on hand.
About 20% is outdoors so it’s a good thing to do on a rainy day, and most things were translated into English.
Very recommended.

Yes. they're of course have many spots to take a picture of you with photographer. those spot is marked with a sign, which showed the supposed to be photos after taken. if you cannot locate those sign, just ask the staff holding the DSLR camera, it will gladly took a picture of you with a price. and if you still cannot locate those photographer staff, you could always ask the security or the other staffs there, they're pretty friendly, especially towards tourist.

selamat siang,
